Dirt 5 – Just Buy It Now!

Codemasters return to the mud, rain and snow in Dirt 5! However, don't be expecting a standard rally game. Dirt 5 shows us just how good and improved a game can get from the previous iteration. Reviewing this on the current PS4 Pro, but rest assured due to Codemasters allowing a free upgrade to the next generation of consoles, I will definitely be revisiting this to bring my next-gen thoughts on the game. WRC 9 Available On PlayStation®5 Upon Launch

NACON and KT Racing announce that WRC 9, the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship, will be available on PlayStation®5 when they launch. A free upgrade to the PlayStation®5 version of the game will be accessible to players already in possession of WRC 9 for PlayStation®4. WRC 9 will be available on PlayStation®5 from November 12th or 19th, according to the release date of the console in each country (see Image below), and on Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch™ at a later date. FIFA 21 – Well..Kind Of

Another year and another FIFA review over on Thumb Culture, this time we are looking at FIFA 21...obviously. So what does this years iteration bring to the game that meant the previous years just felt empty and stale? Well in all honesty not a lot. Jeez this is going to be a hard review to write. Gameplay FIFA 21 returns with the standard kind of thing you would expect from a football video game, updated team line ups, slightly improved graphics, a couple of new additions to old standing modes. Welcome to another football game from Konami, right off the bat we know that this version of PES is purely an update from the 2020 version of the game, just with updated player data and player rosters. Now while people will be screaming saying that it's just an update of the previous years game blah blah blah. Isn't that what people have been asking for though? Rather than a full-price new game each year, give us an update to the previous year and roll on a 2 yearly cycle for new games.
