Evercade Premium Pack Review

It had been 30 years since I last opened a brand new 16-bit system. That system was the Atari 520STE, and I loved it. It arrived in the household a year after the Sega Mega Drive. A lot of the kids at school were talking about a game called The Secret of Monkey Island, which they would be playing on their Amiga 500. I had to play it! Everyone had Amigas, I had the Atari, and to be honest, I was not disappointed. So my heart pumped with nostalgic joy when I was sent the Evercade Premium Pack to review. The Evercade was released in May of 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic. Lots of people were finding video games again and if this release date was part of a late move in the business strategy...Bravo! It's also a risky move considering the Nintendo Switch has a vast library of retro ...

Xbox Series S Review

As you know, I already own the Xbox Series X, and the PlayStation 5. In terms of raw horsepower I...

Xbox Series X Review – Power Your Dreams

Microsoft first announced the Xbox Series X during the Game Awards 2019. Finally, as we're on the verge of the 2020 show, we have the new machine. Microsoft also announced a smaller, less powerful variant in the Xbox Series S. Today though we're only focusing on their flagship model, in this Xbox Series X review. The original reveal showed this strange, monolithic tower with a slew of pre-rendered footage. It was enough to get people excited about what the future holds and started Microsoft on the almost 1-year journey from announcement to launch. Sporting an unconventional shape it soon came to light that the machine was much smaller than you realise. The Next Generation Is Now The Current Generation... You likely know by now that I am a console gamer at heart. In fact, I've been...
