In Retrospect Preview – Where Will Your Life Take You?

In Retrospect by devs Paper Salamander Games is a side-scrolling 16-bit inspired music action platform game that uses your life to create the levels.  Currently, in demo form over on Steam, this is certainly not the usual run-of-the-mill get from start to finish game that I was expecting. In Retrospect delves deep into your soul! If you have had a chance to play the demo, let us know what you think in the comments section below! Gameplay At the start of In Retrospect you wake up in a heavenly looking place whereby you are asked and reassured by another character, named Dee, as to how you are.  What ensues is a number of fairly easy levels as you learn the basic controls of the game.  Your character is continually moving forward, leaving you to time jumps and glides in order to avoi...

Eggcelerate! Review – Make It Or Break It On The Track!

If you have ever wondered what an egg & spoon race with cars would be like then Eggcelerate! is the game for you. A light-hearted racing game where the goal is crossing the finish line with your egg intact. It may sound simple but this indie game will keep you on your toes. Think Trials Fusion but in a car and the added challenge of an egg in an open-top container. Eggcelerate! was developed and published by Tim Beaudet in his video game debut and is available now on PC. Eggcelerate! - Learn first hand why not to put all your eggs in one basket I had a lot of fun playing Eggcelerate! and hopefully, you did too. Story Of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Review – Farming Simulator

Story Of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is quite the mouthful. It's the latest in the Story of Seasons franchise. Those familiar with Harvest Moon will definitely want to keep an eye out for this one. For those unfamiliar, Harvest Moon isn't the game it once was. As licences and IPs moved around, the original crew were left without access to the namesake. Cue Story of Seasons launching in 2014; Harvest Moon through and through just under another guise. Story Of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is developed by Marvelous Inc. It's a game described as a farming simulator. Actually, that's possibly a disservice to the game as there's a lot of variety and depth to the game and it feels more akin to an RPG. Fewer monsters to slay; more harvesting, mining, and friendships. You're also fortunat...
