Moldwasher – PC Review

I am always on the lookout for more cleaning sims, and the latest one to catch my eye is Moldwasher. A cute little pixel cleaning simulator, where we are a small bit of sentient sushi, who must clean up in various levels. The game was created by the team at Rubel Games, and available on Steam. A demo is also available right now for players to try before they buy. A piece of food removing mould, isn't what I would expect. Gameplay We play as a cute piece of sushi that has the task of removing mould from around a kitchen. Levels in Moldwasher have us cleaning various items you would find in the kitchen, some of these are needed to finish the level. While some are labelled as hidden dirty items. Some of these hidden items may offer stickers or soundtracks that you will use in the little ...

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar – PS5 Review

Story of Seasons, or Harvest Moon, is a long-running franchise dating back to the SNES days. I personally didn't discover the series until Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for the GameCube in 2004. Since then, I've been a pretty casual fan, having played a number of titles over the years. Now, after a nine-month timed exclusivity on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 and PC, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S! What's interesting, though, is that this is actually a remake of a previous game! The original was released on the Nintendo DS under the name Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar. Developer Marvelous Inc. has completely revamped this 18-year-old portable title for modern consoles. But is it any good? Let's take a look in our Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar ...

Scale The Depths – PC Review

Scale The Depths is a new fishing game created by Glass Gecko Games. And has us on a rustic old boat catching, scaling, and prepping fish, all while taking in the calm music. The game is out now on Steam, and also has a demo for those who prefer to try before they buy. Some Weird Customers Gameplay In Scale The Depths, you must catch fish to feed the customers that arrive next to your boat. There's a variety of different customers, all with their own preferences on what kind of fish they like and dislike. Giving them fish they like fills their hunger meter faster, but there's no real penalty for feeding them fish they aren't as fussed on, it just fills a little slower. Once satisfied, they'll leave, and you'll receive payment of the total value of fish you fed them. Eventually, you ca...

Lights out and away we go! MOTOGP 26 is the newest instalment in the well-established MOTOGP series. Developed and published by Milestone S.r.l., it aims to bring 'A new generation of riding physics'. You can buy this latest addition on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC now for between £50 and £ 60. How different is MOTOGP 26 from its predecessor? Let's take a look together. Gameplay I have played the MOTOGP games since 2013, with a current goal being to 100% all years from 2013 onwards. Therefore, I have seen a variety of changes that have been implemented throughout these years. There have been changes that have been both good and bad, so it will be interesting to see how 26 is different from its predecessors. The game mode I have put the most hours into is the career mode. I...

Animalkind – PC Early Access Preview

Animalkind is a cozy crafting co-op now available in early access on PC. Play as a small, lovable quadruped summoned to a mysterious island with development and publishing by Uncommon Games. Explore the open world with the assistance of an ancient mech and develop a growing community, alone or with a trio of friends. It's only available now in early access through Steam. Animalkind of Adorable I should really have shown this game to my daughter first to see her reaction. She loves games with animals as well as crafting games like Minecraft. Just the sight of the critters I'm sure will excite her to play. But anyhow, Animalkind looks pretty cute to me too so I thought I'd check it out. Let me tell you about it below. Gameplay Animalkind is an open world co-op crafting adventure wher...

I am Jesus Christ – PC Review

I won't lie, but I honestly did not expect to be reviewing a game like this, and a sim too. That is right I am checking out I Am Jesus Christ, created by Space Boat Studios, and thanks to them. We will step into the sandals of the messiah himself, Jesus. You can grab this right now on Steam for £11.39.  "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12) Gameplay I Am Jesus Christ will let us experience the New Testament as the titular character, as he journeys the Middle East performing miracles. Some of the miracles you will perform consist of healing the lame, guiding fish, walking on water, and... this shocked me, exorcisms. All of these play out in little mini-games for you to play, like guiding a symbol while avoiding a serpent. While another had me use my mouse cursor to guide some fish ...

The House of Hikmah – PC Review

Have you ever played a video game inspired by the golden age of Arabic scientific and cultural development? Would you like to? The House of Hikmah is a 3D puzzle-platformer developed and published by Lunacy Studios, in their grand debut. Lunacy is an interesting studio: an independent, fully-remote, junior-built team dedicated to making diverse, narrative-heavy stories. Will Lunacy's ethically-sourced games nudge out a healthy space in a crowded market that can't even support Fortnite? Well, based on the experience I, a pasty white boy who is most certainly not part of the target audience, had with it, I believe they can. The House of Hikmah is a short, comfortable, well-crafted experience, like drinking a bowl of homemade soup. But what makes it so satisfying? The Key To Success ...

Thomas & Friends Wonders of Sodor – PS5 Review

Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor rolled onto PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 17th March 2026. Developed by Dovetail Games and priced at £29.99. You may recognise Dovetail from titles like Train Sim. I was fortunate enough to get the £39.99 Deluxe Edition which included James as a playable character. As a child on the spectrum, I was completely enamoured with Thomas and his adventures. Stepping into Sodor felt like a pure childhood dream brought to life. There is something special about finally seeing the island realised in a fleshed out console game, not locked to a handheld, not tied to a plastic peripheral (eye-toy), and not forcing you to dust off a SNES just to revisit The Adventure Series from 1993. But does it take you on that nostalgia train, or does it leav...
