ICYMI, today was the annual Sonic Central livestream. A livestream dedicated to all things Sonic the Hedgehog. Ahem. Earlier this year LEGO released five Animal Crossing themed sets. I was severely underwhelmed when these were first revealed in a Press Release in October 2023. They didn't capture everything I loved about Animal Crossing and LEGO. Or so I thought. Then these sets hit the shelves. I saw pictures from friends. I watched TikToks showing off people's builds. It's a great time to be a gamer and LEGO fan. Not only have we had the recent Fortnite reveals and the news about the Shadow the Hedgehog bust, but LEGO decided to use San Diego Comic-Con as the perfect place to announce the brand new LEGO Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi set! This set is the fifth addition to the 18+ LEGO Super Mario range, and we couldn't think of anything more perfect than Mario and Yoshi being reunited in 16bit style. WAHOOO!
