Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles PC Review

Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a 3D puzzle platformer developed by Luminawesome Games Ltd and published by Wired Productions. With a price tag of £15.99 Lumote is available via Steam for Windows or Stadia. Unlike most games, Lumote offers a free playable demo... So if you're on the fence, why not give it a try first? Lumote is the most beautifully addictive puzzle game I have ever played. Period. We all remember the first time we picked up a game and fell in love with it, you play 'one quick level' and before you know it it's been 6 hours, the kids have gone to bed and you're in the doghouse... again. Lumote has taken me back on that journey, from the second I picked it up I found myself saying "just one more stage.. just one more". Without a doubt this is the most beautiful, addic...

FixFox PC Review

FixFox is a top-down Adventure game that plunges you into a unique science fiction world. You play from the perspective of a humanoid engineer with a less than lucrative reputation in his field. If you are into space exploration, technology, and loveable characters, then Joystick Ventures has the perfect game for you to play. Available on Windows and Mac operating systems on Steam. One Moment I Was Fixing A Fridge, Then Restoring A Planet's Communications System The Next. As someone who loves Science Fiction, FixFox gave me the same feeling I get from the show Red Dwarf. The comedic value of the A.I. and the light-hearted story made the game a pleasure to play. Usually, a hero comes equipped with laser blasters, a decked-out spaceship, and a state-of-the-art spacesuit. However, my toolki...

Nobody Saves The World Switch Review

The latest game from Guacamelee 1&2 and Severed developer Drinkbox Studios, Nobody Saves The World is—on the surface at least—a Zelda-inspired, top-down ARPG boasting both online and couch co-op. That’s some good credentials right there, and with the inclusion of the two co-op modes, which are full-blooded experiences, something uncommon in a lot of traditional ARPGs here we should have a guaranteed winner. Available now on every major system. NOBODY SAVES THE WORLD—VARIETY REALLY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE Trailers for Nobody Saves The World promises a lot: an action-intensive experience where you play as different forms—human, animal, monster, and magical characters—all products of a single morphing protagonist. They promise a deep combat system where you can mix and match attacks and...

Chicken Police - Paint It Red is a buddy cop noir adventure with a great blend of humour, a gripping story, and some great artwork. What can go wrong with a game where you play as a detective who is a chicken? Well, let's find out in this Chicken Police - Paint It Red Review. Solasta Lost Valley Review

Solasta Lost Valley is a brand new non-linear campaign and the second Solasta expansion after Primal Calling. And comes from the indie developer and publisher Tactical Adventures. Like Crown of the magister, Lost Valley is an isometric turn-based RPG. However, this is a brand new campaign set in the world of Solasta. The titular valley is a long-forgotten region ripe with opportunity but not everyone may feel very welcoming. I enjoyed getting a sneak peek with some of the Tactical Adventures team and have put some of my first thoughts here. Solasta Lost Valley is available now on Steam as well as Xbox Game Pass on PC. The party who went up a mountain and stumbled into the Lost Valley! I enjoyed my time playing Solasta Lost Valley and hopefully, you do too. I and the TC team would ...

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Review

Star Wars and LEGO games feel like they have been around forever right? The first Star Wars game was The Empire Strikes Back, released in 1982 for the Intellivision and Atari 2600. LEGO Fun to Build was officially the first LEGO game released way back in 1995 on the Sega Pico. It wasn't until 2001 that LEGO started getting into the licensing game with LEGO Creator: Harry Potter released on PC. Then it all changed in the year 2005. LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game was released on April 2nd of that year, followed by Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy a year later. With that said, almost 17 years to the day of the first LEGO Star Wars game, we have the one that we have all been waiting for; LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - Consume You, It Will H...

Solasta: Lost Valley DLC & Multiplayer First Look

I recently got an early sneak peek at the Solasta: Lost Valley DLC and the upcoming addition of online multiplayer. Tactical Adventures set up the session to show off what they have been working on and it didn't disappoint. I joined Mathieu Girard (CEO & Creative Director), Pierre Worgague (Marketing Director) & Emile Zhang (Community Lead) for an hour-long hands-on experience. I came into the session having played & reviewed the base game last year. Playing the turn-based fantasy RPG again was a pleasant reminder of what I enjoyed about Solasta in the first place. Get ready to roll! Alongside the DLC is the release of the online multiplayer for Solasta. Playing online co-op felt just as good, perhaps even better than similar games e.g. Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity Original...
