I've been an avid gamer since the age of 2. I mainly prefer playing Indie games to the bigger "AAA" titled games, but I'll dabble with anything on various platforms.

KUR Review

Welcome to my review of KUR. Brought to us by developers Really Ragdoll and publishers The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild (Tumblestone, Space Otter Charlie), KUR is a first-person shooter game that is based upon classic games of the genre such as Doom and Quake. KUR is available on PC now. KUR - Some Things Should Stay In The Past We play as a gun for hire, brought in to take down an AI created by "The Augmented Intelligence Corporation". It's our job to bail out The AIC and take down a horde of flesh-wearing robots with no aim other than to end our life. Will KUR keep me on the edge of my seat? Or will I be wishing that I should have stuck to modern shooters? Find out below. If you enjoy this review, check out my previous review here where I played Zool Redimensioned. Gameplay When sta...

Glitchpunk Early Access Review

Welcome to my review of one of the latest games to hit Steam Early Access, Glitchpunk. It is brought to us by developers Dark Lord and publishers Daedalic Entertainment (Deponia, Unrailed!, State of Mind). The game is a top-down shooter/fighter akin to classics such as GTA 2 on the PlayStation. You play as an android bounty hunter earning a few bucks from doing missions for gangs just to get by. Glitchpunk Takes Me Back To Those Classics Whilst Glitchpunk certainly has a classic top-down vibe to it, can it really keep you entertained long enough to want you coming back for more? Let's find out in my early access review. Check out my previous review here if you like this one. Gameplay Glitchpunk starts us off with a basic choice, which city to start on. This choice is very limited to on...

Super Rare Mixtape Volume 1 Coming Next Week!

Super Rare Games has announced a new and extremely limited physical collection of games. The Super Rare Mixtape Vol. 1 will be releasing next week on August 19th, 6 pm BST. We have also been informed that there is an extremely limited release of this as there will only be 1,000 made. It'll cost a rather low price of £28 plus shipping. If this proves to be a popular release, Super Rare Games has announced they may "make many more volumes in the future". So what is this "Super Rare Mixtape Vol. 1"? It is a USB stick which is inside of a "cassette tape". Some of you may not know what a cassette tape is, well, they're now even rarer than some of Super Rare Games limited physical media. We oldies used to use these to listen to music inside of a giant "boom box". The collection will contai...

I have a review of this game in the works and I must say, what I have played, is great fun! Glitchpunk is a top-down action game where you play as a glitching android going against its own programming. Challenge the megacorps and tyrannical governments of a dystopian near-future. Drive, brawl, steal, shoot and sneak yourself through a world full of gangs, cults, and a ton of neon lights. At first, the only playable city will be New Baltia. In three to four weeks after the game's launch, Outpost Texas will be pla...
