Timothy’s Night Review

Welcome to my review of Timothy's Night on the PlayStation 5. Wild Sphere Games both developed and self-published this game. We play as an oddball gangster known as Timothy, who must save his city named Little Fish City from an alien invasion. The game is of the third-person perspective and is an open-world shooter with similar traits to games like Grand Theft Auto, Mafia, and Saints Row. The game is available now on PlayStation 5. Timothy's Night Isn't Your Typical Mafia Shooter Fun fact about this game, this is actually an expanded version of Timothy vs the Aliens which was on the PlayStation 4. So will Timothy have a good night in my review? Or should he have had an early night watching the telly? Continue reading to find out. You can check out my previous review here where I played t...

Islanders Console Edition Review

Today I bring you my review of one of the latest indie games to hit the PlayStation 5, Islanders Console Edition. This game was originally released on PC in April 2019 under the name of Islanders. It's brought to us by developers and self-publishers GrizzlyGames, who you may know from another hit game of theirs, Superflight. Islanders - More Relaxed Than Chuck Noland Sunbathing At Home The idea of Islanders Console Edition is for the player to build up a civilisation on procedurally-generated islands. Can I gain enough points to progress to the next island? or will I be throwing my beach ball into the sea? Continue reading to find out. Check out my previous review here where I played the retro-inspired shooter, KUR. Gameplay At first, we choose which game mode we want to play. High Sco...

Mosaic Chronicles Early Access Review

I recently took a look at Mosaic Chronicles, developed and published by Error300 for PC. The game entered early access on Steam on August 25th and appears to be one of two games currently in development by the small indie studio. Error300's website shows the game displayed on a phone, but I haven't been able to confirm if this will be an available platform. As the game title states, Mosaic Chronicles couples beautiful mosaic pieces of art together with a tale to follow along. Mosaic Chronicles definitely takes a different path to the puzzle game genre than that of my previous review of Seed of Life. Chill and Puzzle in Mosaic Chronicles The timing of my review for Mosaic Chronicles couldn't have been better. I just got home from a week-long vacation with my family and another family. On ...

Lawn Mowing Simulator Review

After the buzz of the Lawn Mowing Simulator Demo, which when released garnered over 250,000 downloads, Lawn Mowing Simulator is finally here in a full release. Does it live up to its demo hype or is it another in a long list of tedious niche sims? Curve Digital and Skyhooks Games created a huge noise during this phase. They now have to deliver on the full release. Carry on reading to find out what I thought of the game in my first ever simulator review! Lawn Mower Simulator - Watch out for that Gnome! Now, this is the first-ever simulation game I've reviewed, and based on the other TC crews' thoughts around the demo I was genuinely excited to get stuck into Lawn Mowing Simulator. Seed of Life Review

Seed of Life, developed by MadLight studio and published by Leonardo Interactive, became available for purchase through Steam on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021. Though Wednesday releases aren't common, this game is fairly unique as well. Seed of Life is an action-adventure puzzle game that will have you asking how much it takes to save a planet. MadLight studio, a small indie developer from Spain, sets up Seed of Life to be a visually pleasing and emotional journey. Sometimes the Hardest Puzzles to Solve are the Easiest in Seed of Life Over my thirty-some years of gaming, I can't say puzzle games fall high up in my library. The two main ones that stand out in my mind are Portal and Portal 2. Both felt mostly like puzzle games with a bit of story. However, Seed of Life is much more of a...
