Trolley Problem, Inc. PC Review

Trolley Problem, Inc. is a simulation/choices matter game built around the titular thought experiment. It is the debut game from developer ReadGraves & published by Yogscast Games (Helheim Hassle). I had heard of the thought experiment before but to experience it as a video game was quite something. I found when push came to shove making choices wasn't as easy as I expected. Trolley Problem, Inc. is available now on PC via Steam & Epic Games. Trolley Problem, Inc. will change your definition of a dilemma! I was excited to play Trolley Problem, Inc. and see what choices I would make. Feel free to comment and let us know what you think of the game down below. Gameplay Trolley Problem, Inc. is based on the thought experiment and various other scenarios involving ethical dil...

Submerged Hidden Depths Review

I think it’s safe to say that everyone has gone through an experience where you want to play something however, the thought of dealing with the competitive nature of online games just isn’t the vibe you want. Instead, you search for a game that doesn’t take a lot of effort to play. Well, look no further, it just so happens that I have the perfect solution for you. Described best as a “relaxploration” game, Uppercut Games Submerged Hidden Depths is the second addition to the series. A game that allows you to sit back, relax, and lose yourself in a unique world.  Available on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Google Stadia. An Adventure Without Combat Or The Ability To Die. Is It Playable? I discovered early on, that Submerged Hidden Depths is an adventure game without combat or character heal...

Solasta Lost Valley Review

Solasta Lost Valley is a brand new non-linear campaign and the second Solasta expansion after Primal Calling. And comes from the indie developer and publisher Tactical Adventures. Like Crown of the magister, Lost Valley is an isometric turn-based RPG. However, this is a brand new campaign set in the world of Solasta. The titular valley is a long-forgotten region ripe with opportunity but not everyone may feel very welcoming. I enjoyed getting a sneak peek with some of the Tactical Adventures team and have put some of my first thoughts here. Solasta Lost Valley is available now on Steam as well as Xbox Game Pass on PC. The party who went up a mountain and stumbled into the Lost Valley! I enjoyed my time playing Solasta Lost Valley and hopefully, you do too. I and the TC team would ...
One Military Camp Preview

One Military Camp Preview

One Military Camp by devs Abylight Barcelona, is a single-player strategy management game that sees you construct and manage your own army base. Currently in private demo I was lucky enough to get a taster of what is to come. One Military Camp - A Regimented Two Point Hospital? This game certainly intrigues me as it appears to draw on some aspects of my favourite games. If you like what you see, feel free to join our social channels! Gameplay The timed demo of One Military Camp is very short and brief however you can get a feel of the type of game that is unfolding. At its core you need to build and manage your very own military base, however, the elements stretch not only from the construction side but to also recruiting troops and taking them all the way through training and d...

Uragun Preview

Uragun is a top-down arcade shooter now available in Early Access on Steam. It is being developed and published by Kool2Play. This is Kool2Play's first title to hit Early Access, with two additional projects currently in the works. Uragun. Like, Literally. Anytime I see screenshots or trailers for top-down shooters I always think about arcade cabinet games. I'm really not sure why, but they just seem to fit well in that type of setting. Uragun is no different. I could imagine playing standing at a cabinet with joystick in my hand, mashing buttons and coughing up quarters-a-plenty. Some other genres fit the bill well too. Which others stand out to you as what could be in a modern arcade setting? Let me know! Gameplay Uragun is a top-down, futuristic action shooter. It also falls und...

B.I.O.T.A Review

Developed by Small Bros and published by Retrovibe. B.I.O.T.A is a 2d Metroidvania action platformer that was released on the 12th of April 2022 for the PC. Let's bring back some good old nostalgia shall we with this B.I.O.T.A review. B.I.O.T.A - These Aliens Won't Even See It Coming When you say 8bit to gamers the first thing that will pop into their mind is Mario, Castlevania, Metroid, Sonic. Every now and then a game will surface that uses the old school 8bit graphics and give that game a modern twist. B.I.O.T.A is one of those titles so strap into for some gaming goodness. Expedition Zero Review

Expedition Zero hit digital shelves at the end of March. This new survival horror game by Enigmatic Machines and publishing by tinyBuild (Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper) will keep you on the edge of your seat. You can find it now on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Yes, I was Afraid in Expedition Zero Over the years I've played only a few survival horror games. Some were more suspenseful than scary. Others, though, were downright terrifying. Like keep your lights on while you sleep scary. In comparison, I would have to say that Expedition Zero falls somewhere in the middle. I felt at times like just the thought of something popping out and scaring me was actually more scary than anything else. But I suppose that is the point. What about you, reader? What horror game in your librar...

Solasta: Lost Valley DLC & Multiplayer First Look

I recently got an early sneak peek at the Solasta: Lost Valley DLC and the upcoming addition of online multiplayer. Tactical Adventures set up the session to show off what they have been working on and it didn't disappoint. I joined Mathieu Girard (CEO & Creative Director), Pierre Worgague (Marketing Director) & Emile Zhang (Community Lead) for an hour-long hands-on experience. I came into the session having played & reviewed the base game last year. Playing the turn-based fantasy RPG again was a pleasant reminder of what I enjoyed about Solasta in the first place. Get ready to roll! Alongside the DLC is the release of the online multiplayer for Solasta. Playing online co-op felt just as good, perhaps even better than similar games e.g. Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity Original...

Abermore Review

Abermore is a first-person stealth and heist simulator by Four Circle Interactive (10 Second Ninja). With publishing by Fireshrine Games (KeyWe, Mechwarrior 5), Abermore is only available on PC via Steam. There does not appear to be any plans to bring the game to console. Abermore is a Stealthy Bomb For all outward appearances, Abermore looked to be a game I'd greatly enjoy playing. It has sneaking around, robbing the upper class, and fencing the goods you've stolen. But upon playing the game with all those intentions, it is sadly going to be a rough go for most if not all players trying to play at this time. Unlike my usual reviews, this one is going to take a little bit of a different approach so the format may seem a bit off. But please read on for further understanding. Gameplay...

Flynn: Son of Crimson Review

The third project and first major title from California developer Studio Thunderhorse, Flynn: Son of Crimson is a 2D pixel art platformer channelling the vibe of the SNES/Sega Mega Drive era. The project was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter back in 2017 and published by Humble Games. Feel the Power of Crimson! Pixel art platforming has another great to add to its ever-growing library. Flynn: Son of Crimson takes the best elements of late ‘80s/early ‘90s platforming and takes players on a nostalgic yet new adventure. In the fantasy nation of Rosantica, the veil between civilisation and the dark entity known as The Scourge is growing thin. Twisted creatures have begun to break through and spread their malevolence. The only thing standing in its way is young hero Flynn, a boy wit...
