Embracer Announces Acquisition

Embracer announces acquisition agreement with Square Enix to add to its portfolio of games and dev studios. Embracer announces acquisition of studios and games The move will see Embracer acquire to acquire dev studios Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix Montreal along with a back catalogue of more than 50 games. It also would mean that Embracer would have control of beloved IP such as Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief and Legacy of Kain. Psyonix Announces Rocket League F1 Fan Pass

Rocket League creators Psyonix have announced that F1 is returning to their critically acclaimed title with the 2022 Formula 1 Fan Pass. Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered F1 Cars The new content will arrive on May 4th to coincide with the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix event weekend (May 6th-8th). Developed by Italian studio Milestone, Monster Energy Supercross 5 is the latest release in the annual series and the second to release on next-gen consoles. Having seen what they achieved on the acclaimed Hot Wheels Unleased and coupled with my pining for the Motorstorm series of games to return, I was excited to check this title out. Lost Ark hits massive milestone

Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have announced that Lost Ark has exceeded 20 million users globally. Did anyone inform Noah? The free-to-play fantasy MMOARPG was released in North America, South America and Europe on Feb 11th 2022. In its first 3 days of launch, it garnered over 4.7 million new users. Little Orpheus – PS4 Review

For me, gameplay is always king. Being a rare exception to this rule, Little Orpheus is the first game I can think of that flips this train of thought on its head. Having played the original release of The Lost Legacy (read our review here) when it launched back in August 2017, I was excited when the Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection was announced. I loved the switch to a new, yet familiar lead character. To steal a quote from protagonist Chloe Frazer - "when people have low expectations, it's much easier to take them by surprise".
