Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Postponed Again

Following a statement released on Twitter today, publishers Paradox Interactive have made the decision to change developers.  They assure us that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is still in development but is no longer being developed by Hardsuit Labs.  With no end date specified, as a result, they have stopped accepting pre-orders. Paradox went on to say "We have also decided that Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of Bloodlines 2, and we have started a collaboration with a new studio partner to finish work on the game. This has been a difficult decision, but we are convinced that it is the right way forward to do the game justice." As yet, we do not know who the new developer will be.  They did thank the former developers for all their hard work in layin...

Dry Drowning Review – Dive Into This Neo-Noir Thriller

Dry Drowning is a noir psychological thriller video game delivered as an interactive visual novel. I was glad the drowning is metaphorical, alluding to surviving in this dystopian metropolis. This the debut title for developers Studio V in partnership with publishers VLG & Badland Publishing. Dry Drowning puts you into the (gum) shoes of Mordred Foley, a disgraced police officer turned private detective. A case turned sour and left Hera as his only remaining friend and support. The city of Nova Polemos I found is in a dystopian future which has devolved following an extreme political party being elected. Said party seeking to remove "unwanted" people including Mordred's partner Hera. It is set in the year 2066 so is a not-so-distant version of a possible future. The political...

Diablo IV – Rogue Player Class Announced

Today we bring you a small update with regards to Diablo IV. Blizzard has announced the Rogue player class that will be joining the campfire in the latest Diablo game. The Rogue is a deadly, swift, mobile class with unparalleled versatility. Players who use the Rogue can choose from a variety of ways to attack their foes. Not only can you attack but you can trap the enemies as well as enhancing performance in combat through poisons, shadow magic and specialised techniques. The graphics in Diablo IV are looking amazing from what we've seen so far. Let's hope we don't get that curse of what it looks like in development versus release. You can see more about Diablo IV on the official website here. The rogue looks awesome in my opinion. Could be a go-to class for players. Let u...

DIABLO® II: Resurrected™ Coming to PC & Consoles!

Here we are again, the dawn of a new day after Blizz Conline 2021. Some great news came out of the event yesterday, one that I am probably most excited about is Diablo® II. Blizzard confirmed the faithful remaster of this game will be coming in 2021 to PC and all current consoles. Those consoles are PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The remaster will include both the main game and the award-winning expansion. Both will have "hauntingly" detailed high-res 3D visuals and Dolby 7.1 surround sound. All whilst preserving its timeless gameplay. There will also be a "legacy" toggle which will allow you to switch between the classic 2D look of Diablo II or keep the 3D remastered look. In the official press release, Blizzard says: IRVINE, Calif.—...

Blizzard Arcade Collection Announced for PC, Consoles

This year Blizzard Entertainment celebrates its 30th anniversary and what better way to commemorate its founding than by releasing remastered versions of the games that started it all. At BlizzConline, president J. Allen Brack announced the release of the Blizzard Arcade Collection, a collection of Blizzard’s three earliest games: Rock N Roll Racing, Blackthorne, and The Lost Vikings. “The Lost Vikings, Rock N Roll Racing, and Blackthorne ultimately made it possible for us to go on to create Warcraft®, Diablo®, and StarCraft®, so we thought the Blizzard Arcade Collection would be a fun and fitting way to look back at our roots as a company,” said Brack in a press release. “Many Blizzard gamers around the world fondly remember their time with these games and have often asked us to bri...
