Superstring Officially Announce Their New Title Acolyte

Superstring has today announced their latest titles that were previously known as Project 2. Project 2 was rumoured around the time of the release of Headspun. With teasers coming from various members of the team, we were excited to see what they had in store. However, We can now say that their new title is called Acolyte. "Acolyte takes advantage of the Spirit AI Character Engine, allowing players to converse with their Acolyte in real time via a series of text exchanges. The full game combines non-linear storytelling with real-time notifications and wider ARG elements for a unique narrative that spills out of the game and into the real world" So, from doing my reading the game invites you to become an employee of Nanomax Technology. They are a tech startup looking to change the fac...

Immortals Fenyx Rising Review – Fun and Monsters

After a strange reveal, under the former name Gods and Monsters. Followed by a delay, we finally have Immortals Fenyx Rising. The game was originally thought up by the crew behind Assassin's Creed Odyssey with the aim of exploring Greek mythology with greater depth. The name change was rumoured to be because Monster energy wasn't happy with the use of the word "Monsters". Whether there is any truth to that, we'll likely never know. Having the title as Immortals does, however allow the creators to explore other mythologies in the future which I can see working well. Immortals Fenyx Rising is an open world adventure game where you play as the titular hero Fenyx. You get to create this character using some basic tools, which ultimately help you make Fenyx your own. Immortals Fenyx ...

Override 2: Super Mech League PS4/PS5 Review

Imagine at the end of Pacific Rim when all the Kaiju had been defeated and the Jaegers had served their purpose, the world governments decided to use the Mechas in WWE. That's the premise for Override 2: Super Mech League. Developed by Modus Studios Brazil and Maximum Games, and published by Modus Games, it is available on Steam, PS4/PS5, Switch and Xbox. This is the follow up to Override: Mech City Brawl which got average review scores seemingly due to framerate issues, lack of depth and difficulty in finding online matchups. Can the sequel address these issues successfully? I've not really picked up a Beat 'em Up since the likes of Tekken 3 and Soul Caliber 2. I'm interested to jump in and see what Override 2: Super Mech League has to offer. Override 2: Super Mech League - Rock 'e...
