Available on PC (Steam) I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to review Lumberhill, and I jumped straight in. Being a fan of the Overcooked! series, Lumberhill looked like a blast. I couldn't wait to give it a go. Lumberhill Review - We Have To Save The Animals... And Harvest The Trees? If like us, you're a fan of the style of gameplay offered by Overcooked! you will absolutely love Lumberhill. Project Winter Review – A Winter Susstice

Project Winter brings the classic party game (among us) to a bigger map, more defined characters and a whole lot more. Made by Other Ocean Interactive known for various party titles, Project Winter brings Sus to a wintry map. Project Winter is survival of the fit and smart When I first got into Project Winter, I was looking forward to getting dirty in the snow and being deceptive with my friends; Yet still be hardworking and trustworthy as a team player. Gameplay Project Winter does a good job of taking the fundamentals of among us and expand with more refined gameplay, diverse roles and giving survivors the tools to survive. Social deception is key to survival for the traitors and communication and teamwork is key to the survivors' goals. Roles are defined for both survivors' and ...

Why Is Speedrunning So Popular?

What is speedrunning? Why is it so popular? How do I get into it? What are the benefits? These are just some of the questions that regular speedrunners get on a daily basis and depending on who you ask the answer will be the same. Speedrunning has been apart of gaming culture for longer than people think. Speedrunning - GO GO GO! It goes back to the early 90s where competitions would be held to finish a certain level of a game in an allotted time or by completing an objective within a level as fast as possible. Going back to 1990 at The Nintendo World Championships players were given the objective to beat 4 levels in 4 games as fast as possible. Even in the UK in 1993 with the first episode of the TV show Gamesmaster. The Gamemaster would set challenges to a lucky player to finish...

Clumsy Rush Nintendo Review – Stumbling Out Of The Gate

In Clumsy Rush, which was developed by NerfGame and published by RedDeerGames, you play as a feckless hippo whose goal is to reach the end of an obstacle course whilst wearing a crown over a series of 47 levels. Clumsy Rush released on Nintendo Switch at £4.99 on December 23rd 2019. Gameplay As the title suggests, controlling your hippo is intentionally challenging. You control your movement by using the L2 and R2 buttons to pivot upon your left and right legs respectively. There is a button that will cause you to rush forward, but if you are wearing the crown it will fall off immediately, rendering this move useless in single-player mode. Each level has a series of hazards that are designed to impede your progress. Unfortunately, games that revolve around clunky control schemes ca...

AVICII Invector Review – Rhythmic EDM Awesomeness

AVICII Invector is a rhythmic action music-based game created by Swedish devs Hello There Games and published by Wired Productions.  It is released for Playstation, Xbox and PC on 10th December 2019 and on Nintendo Switch in early 2020. The late artist AVICII (Tim Bergling), was a legend to me when it came to electronic dance music as he brought a very distinct uplifting melody and beat to each song that he created or remixed.  His sudden death back in 2018 was gutting not only to his friends and family, but also to his fans around the world.  For developer Hello There Games, they were in the middle of creating Avicii Invector with him, with development starting back in 2015.  What began as a collaboration has in fact now become a legacy to AVICII.  So what was this game they were creat...
