Sable – PS5 Review

Sable is the debut game from developer Shedworks, a 2 man team from London partnered with publisher Raw Fury (Flat Eye, Cassette Beasts). The game is a sci-fi open-world adventure with the single player experience uncovered through exploring and solving puzzles. The titular character is a young woman undergoing a rite of passage which involves travelling across the desert planet Midden. Previously released on Windows, Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X last year, Sable is now also available on PS5. The journey matters more than the destination in Sable I wasn't aware of Sable at its original release but I was pleased to get the chance to review it on PS5. Gotham Knights is an open-world action RPG from developer Warner Bros. Games Montréal & publisher Warner Bros. Much like the Arkham series we see these caped crusaders fighting crime across Gotham while contending with supervillains, criminals and police alike. Based on DC's Batman: Gotham Knights comic series it is a fresh take on a Batman video game with characters we know and love or love to hate. Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream is the latest instalment in the Atelier franchise. It continues the trend of single-player RPGs in a somewhat open-world akin to late 1700s or early 1800s Europe. It was developed and published by Koei Tecmo who have been part of the series since it began on the PS1 in 1997. Dysterra is a survival, crafting, and multiplayer open world game currently in development by Reality MagiQ (Space Block Buster, Special Force VR: Infinity War) with publishing by Kakao Games (Elyon, Path of Exile). It currently doesn't have a planned release date but it recently had a beta test week from November 15th thru the 28th. I was able to dip a toe into the game to see what it's all about. Developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. Maneater: Truth Quest is the DLC to the hugely popular video game Maneater. Released on Playstation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC on 31st of August 2021. Maneater: Truth Quest - It's Never Save To Go Back In The Water When I first played Maneater I was absolutely amazing at how a game where you play as a shark could be. It blew me away at how good it was and when I finished it. I remember thinking that it had so much to offer and I couldn't wait to see if they were going to release some DLC for the game.
