The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Switch Review

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the latest game in the Zelda series and the much-anticipated sequel to 2017's Breath of the Wild (BotW). It is a single-player fantasy open-world RPG developed & published by Nintendo. Having been teased since E3 2019, fans have been chomping at the bit for Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). The game has sold over 10 million copies 3 days after release and even had the knock-on effect of BotW being a top seller again too. There were some strong opinions among players about Tears of the Kingdom being too similar to BotW but I feel fans won't be disappointed. I certainly wasn't as I found TotK is Breath of the Wild cranked up to 11 with its design and mechanics and the return of many familiar faces. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is...

Now let us hit the streets of Bumsville and see what mayhem we can cause. If you enjoyed this review then let us know in the comments below. Star Wars: Jedi Survivor – PlayStation 5 Review

The developers at Respawn bring us Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, the direct sequel to Fallen Order which was released back in 2019. Are you Looking to scratch that itch of being a Jedi? Then take the role of Cal Kestis and fight using the force and slicing your way through enemies with your trusty bot BD - 01. Players can grab this game on PlayStation and Xbox for £69.99 or on Steam Store for £59.99. The Deluxe upgrade offers several more cosmetics for Cal and BD-01 for £20. Great, Kid. Don't Get Cocky I enjoyed Fallen Order and loved both Cal and BD as characters. So when they revealed Jedi Survivor, I couldn't wait to see where these two would end up next. Seeing the addition of new combat stances for more playstyles was a bonus because even though I'm not a fan of the latest trilogy of fi...

Cassette Beasts – PC Review

Originally announced in October 2021, today sees the release of the Creature Collector-JRPG Cassette Beasts, developed by UK-based Bytten Studio, and published by Sweden-based Raw Fury. Cassette Beasts is available today for Steam and Windows, and will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and the Nintendo Switch in late Spring 2023. Today we will be looking at the PC version, which will cost £16.75/$19.99 or can be played via PC Game Pass and will require 2GB of space. Gotta Record 'em All? Now, if there is one thing I'm certain of, it's that this game will no doubt have "Pokémon clone" thrown around alongside it. And while yes, it is a creature-collecting, monster-battling, turn-based JRPG, I feel like calling it a Pokémon clone would be doing it a disservice. Of course, there...

Sable is the debut game from developer Shedworks, a 2 man team from London partnered with publisher Raw Fury (Flat Eye, Cassette Beasts). The game is a sci-fi open-world adventure with the single player experience uncovered through exploring and solving puzzles. The titular character is a young woman undergoing a rite of passage which involves travelling across the desert planet Midden. Previously released on Windows, Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X last year, Sable is now also available on PS5. The journey matters more than the destination in Sable I wasn't aware of Sable at its original release but I was pleased to get the chance to review it on PS5. I had a very good time playing and so I would love to hear your thought. If you have played before or are thinking about it, feel free...

Gotham Knights – PS5 Review

Gotham Knights is an open-world action RPG from developer Warner Bros. Games Montréal & publisher Warner Bros. Much like the Arkham series we see these caped crusaders fighting crime across Gotham while contending with supervillains, criminals and police alike. Based on DC's Batman: Gotham Knights comic series it is a fresh take on a Batman video game with characters we know and love or love to hate. There is some controversy around the game with Batgirl's in-game bio. In this Gotham, The Killing Joke is canon including Barbara Gordon being paralysed and becoming Oracle. The in-game bio states she overcame this with hard work which has offended the non-able-bodied community. The news that Gotham Knights wouldn't be released on PS4 and Xbox One will be upsetting for gamers who haven'...

Infinite Links Review

Developed by Exe-Create and published by KEMCO. Infinite Links is an action turn-based RPG. It was released on the 12th of May 2022 for the Xbox One, Series S/X, Playstation 4/5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The forces of evil are strong in this one so caution ahead of this Infinite Links Review. Infinite Links - It's A Final Chrono Crossover Here we are with another RPG. The trend is rising and rising and if I'm being honest I really don't mind. I grew up playing RPGs like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest as well as favourites like Grandia and Chrono Trigger. But during recent times the abundance of RPGs being made makes a lot of them really poor in gameplay. Does Infinite Links fit into that category? Well, I'm here to tell you.
