Radio Viscera Review

From the development studio Fireface, under the publication of Alliance comes Radio Viscera. What we have here is a top-down shooter that's a bit different in Radio Viscera you don't have a gun as such, it's more a tool that knocks enemies back into perilous traps. Fireface is made up of just one man, that man being Owen Deery. I was quite surprised to learn that one man was behind this, as it's quite polished and really does run well, but we'll get to all that later. The walls are weak... Destroy them Being a fan of indie games with an arcade-like feel, I was excited to give this one a go. How did I get on? You'll have to carry on reading to find that one out. If you enjoy this review, you can check out my previous article, where I gave a preview of Terra Nil here. As always you can cat...

Chivalry 2 Review

Over at Thumb Culture, we love a bit of mindless violence and Chivalry 2 brings that in spades. We all got together and wanted to bring our thoughts to you. Chivalry 2 Brings The Pain... And Chickens Check out what the team thought of Chivalry 2 below and while you are at it, don't forget to check out our social media to stay up to date with the latest gaming news. Dan says: On first loading I was greeted with controls I thought was going to be too complex. But after the well guided tutorial I was battle ready. Or what I thought anyway! The vast battles that take place on the various maps available are intense. Remembering to block, parry and dodge within seconds of each other soon becomes second nature. I must admit running around the maps with a chunk of sharp metal impaling and...

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown Review

Before Tekken. Before Soul Blade, there was Virtua Fighter. Virtua Fighter is a series established long ago, way back in 1993.  AM2, Sega's in-house development team introduced it to the arcades and the rest, as they say, is history. Without AM2, Sega would not have had the success it did in the arcade scene. The developers began life in 1992 and produced Virtua Racing. They then went on to have huge successes with the likes of Daytona USA, Virtua Cop, and Shenmue.  Virtua Fighter is often regarded as the first 3D fighting game and as a result of its popularity, it was ported to the Sega Saturn and Sega 32X. Fast forward to 2006, Virtua Fighter 5 hits the arcades and is ported to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, although missing a few bits. In 2010 we have the so-called final version, a...

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Review

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a third-person platform shooter developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is important to point out that, Rift Apart is not a sequel to the 2016 Ratchet & Clank title on PS4, which was more based around the movie. It is in fact a sequel to the 2013 PS3 title Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus. Insomniac Games have taken Ratchet & Clank to another dimension Rift Apart has arrived and has smashed its way through all dimensions to land on the Playstation 5. I am a huge fan of the Ratchet & Clank series so jumped at the chance to write a review for the latest installment. Unless you've been out battling Sandsharks or Robomuts by now you must have seen at least one screenshot of Rift Apart. So you may...
