PUBG: Season 13 Is Here

Player Unknowns Battleground (AKA PUBG) is a successful, well-known battle royale-style shooter developed by KRAFTON & PUBG Corporation. Released back in July 2017, players are now able to enjoy the latest season 13 update. Season 13 is upon us! Join me as I explore what new content this latest season brings to the title. Since PUBG launched in 2017, we've seen the game progress and grow into a popular leading title of the battle-royale genre. With new weapons, maps, cosmetic skins and even new game modes added on a regular basis, PUBG continues to hold a somewhat dwindling player base. Public lobbies are now seeing the introduction of bots to ensure game lobbies are filled with 100 combatants. Ranked matches average around 60 players, just 60% of what they used to have. Could...

Kena: Bridge of Spirits Review

After numerous delays since its announcement in June 2020, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is finally here. You can be forgiven for looking at it and thinking it is reminiscent of a Pixar movie. That's because the developers and publishers, Ember Lab started life as an animation studio. You may recall a fan film based on The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask called Terrible Fate? That was Ember Lab, and Kena: Bridge of Spirits is their first game. Kena: Bridge of Spirits - The Path of a Spirit Guide is a Lonely One Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a game developed and published by Ember Lab and was released as a timed console exclusive on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on September 21st, 2021. Dustwind – Xbox One Review

Developed and published Dustwind Studios. Dustwind is a post-apocalyptic tactical strategy game. There are so many video games out there now that are set in a post-apocalyptic world. Will this be just another copy and paste of all the rest or will there be some surprises up its sleeve. Let's find out in the Dustwind Xbox One Review. Dustwind - Played One Played Them All Now years ago whenever there was a release of a tactical strategy game. I always got excited to play it but lately there just seems to be so many of them knocking about. Is there really any more room for these types of games anymore. Well, let's find out if Dustwind falls into the category of just another mediocre RTS game. As usual, if you enjoyed this review then why not check out my latest one here. You can also che...

Action Arcade Wrestling Review

From developers VICO Game Studio, and published by Reverb Triple XP we have Action Arcade Wrestling. Available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 for the low price of $14.99/£12.49 respectively. With an aim to recreate the feeling of the 16-bit wrestling games. Does it succeed in this aim? We aim to answer that question. Action Arcade Wrestling - Bringing back the old school Being an old wrestling fan of 22 years, I have been playing the games for many years also. Before your WWE 2K games, and even before your WWF Raw and No Mercy games, you had the 16-bit era of games. The ones I have the most memories of are WWF Super Wrestlemania and WWF Royal Rumble. Although similar, there are some differences and in some cases improvements, which I will get to in this review. If...

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt is the debut foray into AAA games for Swedish company Sharkmob. It is an online multiplayer third-person battle royale taking place in Prague, Czech Republic. Fighting through the city and the only rule is to keep your existence a secret, the titular masquerade. I didn't come across any plot for the game but it is faithful to the World of Darkness setting. Definitely inspired by games like Apex Legends and PUBG, Bloodhunt however is like their goth cousin. Going it alone or in a trio, fighting to be the last vampire standing, and maintaining the masquerade is all that matters. Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt - Something to Sink Your Teeth Into I kept up on news and other player's thoughts and I found there was some disappointment. Many people were expe...

Lost In Random Review

Welcome to my review of Lost in Random. This game is brought to us by developers Zoink Games (Fe, Stick it to The Man!) and is published by EA Originals (Knockout City, It Takes Two). Lost in Random is a story about two sisters named Odd and Even. They get separated due to the roll of the dice which decides the fate of Odd, who is taken away by the Queen of Random. Lost In Random Decides The Fate Of Citizens With The Roll Of The Dice I was rather fortunate in being given a review copy of Lost in Random on the PlayStation 5. Can we complete our quest and save Odd as we play as Even through the different cities in the world of Random? Keep reading to find out. Check out my previous review here, where I played King's Bounty II on the Xbox. Gameplay In the world of Random, when children hi...

Deathloop Review

Deathloop is finally here ladies and gentlemen.  Deathloop is a brand new IP developed by the brilliant minds at Arkane Studios who brought us Prey and Dishonored what can we expect? Well, the game director Ding Bakaba has described it as an "inverted Cluedo". It is essentially a big old murder mystery where you are stuck in a time loop played from a first-person perspective. It was originally announced at E32019 and again at the PlayStation 5 showcase in 2020 and scheduled to release later that year. But, after a couple of delays due to the ongoing pandemic, Deathloop is finally here. Deathloop - If At First, You Don't Succeed...Die, Die Again Since Microsoft acquired Zenimax Studios, the parent company of publishers Bethesda, they have honoured the agreement to make this a timed con...
