Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries Review

In a surprise turn of events MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries arrived onto PS5. This was the first time the series had been on PlayStation consoles since MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat. For those of us old enough to remember that was on the original Playstation back in 1995. Craig reviewed the PC version back in 2019 where he awarded it the Thumb Culture GOLD award. We are swimming in a sea of remasters at the minute. Everywhere you look there is something getting the treatment. Are we just pining to stay in the past? Ghostrunner Review

Ghostrunner has received its PS5 and Xbox Series X release taking the originally released game to new heights. Developed by One More Level, Slipgate Ironworks and 3D Realms, this cyberpunk parkour-samurai-ninja foray looks stunning. With so much history steeped into the development companies, I was excited to get my PS5 switched on so I could get going! Ghostrunner - The Ultimate Version of Bop It! Broken Blades Review

Broken Blades is the debut game from developer Pirates Game Studio and is published by Golden Eggs Studios & West Wind Games. It is a 2D rogue-like platformer set in a fantasy dungeon full of various creatures and monsters. After the tutorial, I learned the game doesn't waste time. Right away I was in control of the protagonist in a world deep underground but with no understanding of who I am and how I got there.
