31 Days of Halloween – The Medium

Day 24 of our 31 Days of Halloween and we have a game so good that we reviewed it twice so no ghosties come to haunt us! It was reviewed on PC here and again on PlayStation 5 when it was later released this year here. We are of course talking about The Medium. Bloober Team has become a force to be reckoned with in recent years within the horror genre. With games like Blair Witch, Layers of Fear 1&2, and Observer, they are showing that they are pushing boundaries and exploring new territory to send chills down our spines. Today's game, The Medium is a perfect example of those things raising the bar in the process. Have you ever wondered what the spirit realm might look like? Do you believe it even exists? This third-person psychological horror game may have you questioning your ow...

Today I bring you my review of Nuclear Blaze which is the debut game from Deepnight Games. This one-man band has developed and self-published Nuclear Blaze to Steam. Killsquad Review

Killsquad, a co-op action hack and slash, is boiling to a full release on October 21, 2021. The genre-blending game developed and published by Novarama has been in Early Access on Steam since July of 2019. Over the course of these two years and change, the developers have been listening closely to feedback from the community. At this point there have been 16 major updates and they don't intend on stopping anytime soon. Killsquad will initially only be available on Steam but Novarama is planning for a PS4 and PS5 release as well. Gun, Run And Carve Your Way Through The Galaxy In Killsquad I recall seeing Killsquad when it initially hit Early Access on Steam in the summer of 2019. I don't recall why I put off playing it until recently though. Perhaps it was due to the unpleasant taste that...

Far Cry 6 Review

By now you've seen the comments on social media. "If you've played one Far Cry game, you've played them all". "It's just the same game in a different location, sometimes with the same topography". "It's just Assassin's Creed but with a different skin". But do you know why Far Cry 6 is going to do so well? Because it is a winning formula. Much like Grand Theft Auto and The Elder Scrolls series, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Far Cry 6 - "Rule #1 - A Good Guerrilla is a Hidden Guerrilla" Far Cry 6 is an ahem...far cry (I'm sorry) from its first game released in 2004 which was developed by Crytek who is more known for the Crysis series. Look out for the Crysis Trilogy Remastered review coming soon. The first game is the only one Ubisoft had nothing to do with. In total there have been six...

Ghostrunner - The Ultimate Version of Bop It! Should you have the PS4 version already then it is refreshing to know that the PS5 version is a free upgrade.  I wish others would follow suit! After playing the likes of Mirror's Edge, could I transfer any of my building leaping skills to Ghostrunner?  Let's get it on!  If you enjoy my review be sure to check out my past articles here. Gameplay Set in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk w...

Dying Light Platinum Edition Launched On Switch – Missing From EU Digital Shop

Dying Light, the acclaimed first-person, open-world zombie survival game, is somehow a new Nintendo Switch release. How Techland managed to squeeze this massive game onto Nintendo’s console, I’m not too sure.  Dying Light Platinum Edition is chock full of extra content on top of the 2015 base game. It includes the huge ‘The Following’ expansion, a new mode called Hellraid, additional quarantine zones to parkour around as well as a host of other bits and bobs such as weapons and skins. The amount of support Dying Light has received over the last 6 years is astounding. So it's not surprising to see the Switch edition getting loads of love too. It should be clear by now that this isn't some 'lazy port'. As well as the huge amount of content there’s also been improvements to take advanta...

Coffee Noir Review

Coffee Noir is part business management game and part detective novel. Developed and published by NAOS Software and DOJI, the game is available now for the PC on Steam.  Set in an alternate reality 2021 in Neo-London, Coffee Noir harkens back to the film noir detective movies of the 1940s. Now, I love a good detective story, so I was really keen to review this game. Put on a fresh pot of coffee, sit in your comfy armchair, and enjoy our Coffee Noir review. Wake Up And Smell The Mystery With Our Coffee Noir Review Coffee tycoon Richard Kersey is missing, and it is up to private detective Arthur Oliver to find him. For Arthur, this isn't just any case.
