Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt is the debut foray into AAA games for Swedish company Sharkmob. It is an online multiplayer third-person battle royale taking place in Prague, Czech Republic. Fighting through the city and the only rule is to keep your existence a secret, the titular masquerade. I didn't come across any plot for the game but it is faithful to the World of Darkness setting. Definitely inspired by games like Apex Legends and PUBG, Bloodhunt however is like their goth cousin. Going it alone or in a trio, fighting to be the last vampire standing, and maintaining the masquerade is all that matters. Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt - Something to Sink Your Teeth Into I kept up on news and other player's thoughts and I found there was some disappointment. Many people were expe...

Farewell Sir Clive Sinclair

It was the summer of 1986 when I got my very first computer. A ZX Spectrum was in the living room waiting for me as I got in from school. The feeling of playing games on a home computer system was just mind-blowing and if you had one then you were the envy of the whole street. Remembering classics such as Jet Set Willy, Manic Miner, Chuckie Egg, and Jetpack. The ZX Spectrum was a marvel in home entertainment. It was also very affordable at a price of £125 it was way cheaper than anything else on the market. But it was the games that made the computer so memorable as you could get games for as little as £2. All of this was thanks to Sir Clive Sinclair. The man behind it all. Sinclair's first array into electronics was back in the 1950s with Sinclair Radionics. But it was in the 60...

Tails of Iron Review

Tails of Iron first appeared on my radar a couple of months ago and there were a few things that drew me to it initially. Firstly was its unique 2D art style, it reminded me of medieval tapestries and I love the medieval era. Secondly, the narrator kicked in and he happened to be the one and only Doug Cockle. You may know him as Geralt of Rivia (or RATvia now?) from The Witcher series. Lastly was how interesting the story sounded with the characters. The game arrived and the description said "punishingly brutal souls-like combat". Just those words sent a shiver up my spine, as it has taken me many attempts over five years to get past the first boss in Bloodborne. Nevertheless, I remained undeterred and couldn't wait to get into it. Tails of Iron - A True Hero's Tale Tails of Iron is a...
