SNK has just announced that fan favourite Athena Asamiya will be joining the fighter roster in the upcoming game The King of Fighters XV. She first appeared in the 1986 game Psycho Soldier then went on to The King of Fighters'94 and has been a staple character ever since. Athena is a fighter whose combat style is likened to Wing Chun but she mostly relies on her psychic powers to fight. For the first time ever she will be teaming up with Mai Shiranui, and Yuri Sakazaki and forming Team Super Heroine. Banners of ruin launched on Steam in early access on the 30th of July last year. One day shy a year later and it is now officially released on GOG, Epic, Steam, and now Nintendo Switch too!
