Arcade Paradise Launch Party

To coincide with the release of Arcade Paradise, Wired Productions hosted a dual press day and evening launch party. I was lucky enough to snag an invite to both! Before I start, I want to quickly mention the venue itself. Both events took place at the historic 26 Leake Street hidden below Waterloo Station. What was once a collection of mere railway arches is now a bustling hub of urban creativity. It even has a dedicated event space for 1200+ attendees. This is where the events took place. Si’s WASD Highlights

A couple of months ago fellow TC writer Jas and I headed oFf to Tobacco Dock, London to see the latest games on display at WASD. It was filled with indie devs galore and along with a few larger developers, made a fun-filled day out. I've been to Tobacco Dock previously for work, so was aware of how much space there is to be filled and having never been to EGX Rezzed, I was expecting the venue to be packed to the rafters with both exhibitors and the public. J’s WASD Gaming Highlights

Last month I was lucky enough to attend London's WASD gaming event with fellow Thumb Culture writer Si at Tobacco Dock, where a whole host of indie devs, and a few larger houses, put their games on display to the public. I do love visiting this venue and have fond memories of when it hosted a bustling but since defunct annual EGX Rezzed. Although I went on a Friday it was certainly a lot quieter than previous times however this could be down to it being a school term as well as some people not wanting to understandably be in places where there can be large crowds. There is certainly something here for everybody, from playable computer games and demos to a whole room dedicated to tabletop puzzles and board games. It certainly made for a good day out! Our Most Anticipated 2022 Games

2021 has been a great year for video games. We've had It Takes Two, Forza Horizon 5 and Chicory: A Colorful Tale just to name a few. The year has however seen a huge number of delays announced. The majority of those are pushing release dates out of this year and into 2022. The first quarter of next year is absolutely fit to burst with big releases. It has been 8 years (0r 6 including Gat Out of Hell), since a new addition to the Saints Row series. For the fans (myself among them), the wait is now over. Koch Media Primetime / Prime Matter E3 Coverage

June 11th saw the Koch Media Primetime stream for E3 2021, this is the first time that Koch Media have had their own E3 style presentation. Koch Media recently unveiled their premium gaming label Prime Matter which will be based in Munich, Germany.
