I think I've made it fairly well-known in my reviews for Thumb Culture that I'm not a big controller user. Apart from the brief session on my PlayStation now and then, my Steam Deck is as close as I get. But I couldn't pass up the chance at trying out some new hardware. The DualSense Edge, Sony's "Pro" controller released on the 26th of January this year. It marked a significant step forward for Sony, who had left pro controllers to 3rd parties such as Scuff, Nacon and Razer. Truly Impressive Tech As a lifelong gamer, I have never needed a pro controller. I always felt that you were paying a premium price for better battery life and some flappy back buttons. Nacon, known for its epic range of third-party peripherals just keep on improving year after year. With each release comes better tech or an uplift in quality.
