Vampire Survivors is a 2022 roguelike shoot'em up game developed and published by Luca Glanace. The game has been so popular that Glanace went on to found 25 person strong studio Poncle, who work solely on the game. Vampire Survivors is initially set in Italy, where hordes of monsters have been summoned by the face of the game, our very own evil Bisconte Draculó. Shoulders of Giants: Ultimate is an action roguelite adventure by Moving Pieces Interactive. It was previously only available on the Epic Games store for PC or Xbox One/Series X|S but as of August 12th is now available via Steam. Getting to revisit the original format of Risk of Rain brings a ting of nostalgia. And the recalibration to my brain that I can move away from the teleporter when starting. I'm checking out a new post-apocalyptic rogue-lite, turn-based RPG developed by SneakyBox. Though Days of Doom was on mobile to begin with. Thanks to Atari's help, the developers could launch their game to a larger audience. The game is available now on Steam, Playstation, and Xbox for £24.99 and £26.99 on Switch. Mythforce is a roguelike RPG co-op adventure brought to you by developers Beamdog. The game was released on 12th September 2023. They claim throughout their promotions online to have captured the essence of 80s daytime cartoons in game form. Sounds interesting. I recently got a chance to check it out for Thumb Culture.
