Forever Skies is a different take on the post-apocalyptic base-building survival genre. It is the flagship game of Far From Home Studios, who believe that games can be a tool for enacting change in the world. Forever Skies is available in Early Access for PC only on Steam. Although not even out yet, Koa has already received the 'Best Platformer Game' award at the Indie Dev Day 2022. Needless to say, I'm excited to check this one out. Dwerve – PC Review

If you're a fan of tower defence games, then the developers at Half Human Games have brought us their take on the genre with Dwerve. Released in May 2022, players can pick it up on Steam for £15.49. The soundtrack is also available for an additional £7.19 for those who love to collect music. Not all heroes carry swords I find this genre relaxing and not too demanding, which makes it a great way to pass the time. Games like Bloons TD 6 and Plants vs Zombies instantly come to mind. Both were great games, but what interested me with Dwereve is that it is more story-focused. I'm hoping for a nice selection of towers to use and a rich story I can get lost in. Bandit Brawler – PC Review

After a hard day at work there is nothing better than a good bar fight, or so I am told. Titanite Games have decided to make that a reality for all with their latest release Bandit Brawler. Obviously, there are a few drawbacks, you have to rob and pillage a lot to be a true bandit, so that's officially now your day job. Time to see if I know the difference between a Haymaker and a Bolo punch in a few fights. Best get my sparkly dressing gown ready and some decent intro music, it's off I go to beat up some people. The self-publishing team known as Embers has developed a light-hearted action-adventure game called Strayed Lights. This game was released back in April of this year. If you want to check it out for yourself, then it's available on Steam, GOG, Epic, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox for £20.99 Hope burns bright.
