MarineVerse Cup Quest 2 Review

Ever fancied getting out on the open sea, hoisting a sail and exploring far away lands but held off because it was too expensive? Well now the solution is here, MarineVerse Cup has just been released so entering the world of VR sailing has never been easier. Time to put on my life jacket and find my whistle before diving into this open water experience. Don't Leave Home Without Your Jar Of Dirt If you enjoy this review, why not get in touch with us on social media and let us know! Gameplay MarineVerse Cup starts with a tutorial, I can skip this, but unfortunately my sailing knowledge is as absent as a trophy in Tottenham's trophy cabinet so I need it. The tutorial took me through the basics of maneuvering around the dock and the boats, there were little quizzes to make sure I knew my t...

Cities: VR Review

Cities: Skylines has been around since 2015. It is in effect a highly polished version of Maxis' Sim City. When an opportunity to review Cities: VR by Fast Travel Games presented itself, I couldn't help but raise my hand and take it on. Cities: VR - Building in the Palm of Your Hand! Having been a fan since I was a lad of city builder games and also owning an Oculus Quest 2, would the transition to VR be a satisfying and fun experience? Gameplay To those of you new to the Cities series of games, Cities: VR is a single-player city-building and management game. You get to design your own city from a blank canvas and are in full control from the moment you start building roads and zoning areas to build either residential, commercial or industrial premises. All of the infrastructure is...

AVICII Invector: Encore Edition VR Review

If you love rhythm games on the Oculus Quest 2 then you are certainly in for a treat. AVICII Invector: Encore Edition has hit the shop and brings with it the amazing songs of the late AVICII aka Tim Bergling. AVICII Invector: Encore Edition - Live The Rhythm! I have been lucky enough to review the base game back in late 2019 on the PlayStation 4 so I was very excited to see how it has transferred to the Oculus Quest 2! Read my previous review here! After The Fall – Quest 2 Review

Welcome to my review of After The Fall. This is a new VR game and was developed and published by Vertigo Games (creators of Arizona sunshine). This is a game full of potential, especially when it is like Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood. A VR version of those games was definitely needed. Now I can actually feel like I'm there slaying the zombies in a snowy apocalypse. Left 4… Oh Wait, After The Fall As previously stated, the game structure is quite similar to Left 4 Dead and the likes. However, this is not a bad thing due to the increasing pressure of those games to come back. You know the ‘’old’’ go from A to B but have safe houses scattered in the middle.  This is not a bad plot either, the safe houses in the middle can be used to spend your harvest (the currency dropped from zom...

Unplugged Review

Developed by Anotherway and published by Vertigo Games (known for Arizona Sunshine and After The Fall) Unplugged is a game that brings out your inner Wyld Stallyn. Death to all BUTT metal! I am not going to lie, when I found out about this title I was blown away with excitement. Guitar hero was one of my favourite music sim titles, and I love beat saber. Unplugged VR combines the two and I am hoping it brings its AAA game! Gameplay Unplugged is a VR title that brings you a guitar experience like no other. Obviously, there are other games that are similar, but the mechanics of Unplugged put this in a league of its own. To start off with it uses hand tracking, so there is no controller! Which on hearing about I was unnerved. However, I have to say works really well. I found it hard to ge...

Demolish & Build VR Review

Demolish, construct and grow your business! Developed and published by UltimateVR. You are thrown into the world of a construction simulator. Welcome to Demolish & Build VR Is it the foundations of something great or simply still half-built? Why not check out our previous review of Demolish & Build from the 2020 console edition here. Gameplay Following in the same footpath as the original PC and console versions we start at the Casino. The opening scenes are some communications between us and the oddly scripted "Boss" figure who seems to have the same amount of business knowledge as I actually do. We are given our first tasks and somewhat left to our own to get on with them. It starts simple enough, pull out wires and discard some stools in the skip. After completing this w...
