Something I never thought would pop into my inbox was Fortnite and Steelseries collaborating. Obviously a super enthusiastic was emailed and then a nice little parcel of wonderful colours dropped on the TC doorstep. It was almost like opening a rare chest, the gaming gods descended upon the house and the box was opened.
Where we dropping?
Being big fans of Fortnite, the package held some amazing products. Now the entire range is vast, from keycaps, to earbuds, KontrolFreeks to mouse pads. What we were fortunate enough to receive was all below in the image.
So as you can see we got send the Arctic 3 Nova 3, Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2, Qck XXL mousepad, a set of the no-slip Thumb Grips and the Fortnite Performance Thumbsticks in the Fishstick edition. All in all, it’s been incredible getting to test these. We already had some experience with a lot of the products, but in different colours, so we’ll post the individual reviews in each section for you to read through. For now, let’s start out from the top shall we.
Arctis Nova 3 Wireless – Fortnite Water Sprite Edition

Straight out the box these were nabbed by Charlotte, with the cute faces on either side, and the incredible vibrant blue colourway, these were an instant hit. Featuring the amazing hardware inside the Nova 3 these not only looked the part, but also sounded the part. With that crazy long battery life as well as the amazing noise reduction, she was able to make use of these on an incredibly long and noisy train journey. Being able to be in her own world, listening to her own music, rather than someone’s crying child. When reviewing these previously, one of my favourite parts of the Nova 3 was the great soundscape. Steelseries seem to just have it down perfectly, it’s why I use the Arctis Pro Omni as my every day headset, both in work and playing games.
Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2 – Fortnite Edition

I grabbed this mouse, I loved the previous Aerox 3 that we reviewed, but this one is just so unique in it’s look that I needed it for myself. The colour of this one is inspired by the in game storm, with the pinks and purple colouring. Add to that the translucent plastic and this thing glows so bright. The Aerox 3 has been my daily gaming mouse for a while and this one is no different. With the IP54 rating, being dust and water resistant means that you don’t have to worry about any accidental spills when grabbing a quick drink mid round. You also get one of the lightest mice out there, at 68 grams it is incredibly lightweight. Allowing to get some great shots off quickly and accurately.
Qck XXL Mousepad – Fortnite Battle Bus Edition
The mousepad that brings it all together, and with an incredibly cool looking Battle Bus blueprint design to boot. With a durable non slip rubber base it keeps everything in place, even adjusting it slightly so that the edge lines up nicely with the edge of my desk, you have to give it a decent pull. The XXL size is 900mm x 400mm and 2mm thickness, ample real estate for both a mouse and even a full sized keyboard. The colour and print also make my product photos look epic, with that blue and black print it’s perfect.
No- Slip Thumb Grips – Fortnite Supply Llama Edition
These neat little thumb stick covers are great. Coming in blue and pink colours, they fit over any thumbstick from any system out there. Which means that I can make use of them while playing with my PlayStation 5 Fortnite controller, just to round off the image. They not only give you a greater grip, but they also protect your current thumb sticks from degrading over time. Even made with an advanced GripTek material to ensure that your thumbs stay connected to the thumb sticks, even through the most tense round
Fortnite Performance Thumbsticks – Fishstick Edition
From the great minds at KontrolFreek, these performance thumbsticks are just what you need if you are looking for better accuracy and responsiveness on those fast paced shooters. The science behind them is that the performance thumbsticks increase the travel distance, allowing for smaller and more precise movements. They are difficult to get used to at first, but after a while they become second nature. I’ve always got these attached to my Fortnite PC controller. Yes, I’ve got a PlayStation and a PC Fortnite controller. The special hook design means that they clip on and do not come loose, and with the rubberised face print you stay connected to the controller at all times.
Final Thoughts
Whilst we didn’t get sent everything in the range, the full range can be found here. All of the products we received have gone straight into action, straight into use, having reviewed the core products previously we knew instantly that these were going to be good. If you are a Fortnite fan, then really you should be considering these for your next upgrade. All that’s left is for me to try and badger Steelseries to see if they’ll send me one of the Artisan Keycaps, I think we deserve it.
