Thunder X3 CORE Gaming Chair Review

These days there is a vast market for gaming chairs that come in all different shapes, sizes, colours and prices. With this in mind, Thunder X3 has introduced its newest gaming chair with Thunder X3 CORE. There is plenty of variety in the CORE series, as there are three different styles to choose from. Firstly there is the Modern design, which comes in black, blue and red. Then there is the Racer, which comes in black and blue colourways. And finally, there is the Loft model, which comes in a grey and black colourway. The latter is the only style that is fully covered in fabric material.  Is this the best new chair in the market? I have been extremely fortunate enough to be sent the Thunder X3 CORE Loft model in the grey colourway to review. Let's see how the chair compares to others in ...

OP1we Endgame Gear Gaming Mouse Review

Having loved Roccat mice as well as my current Logitech Lightspeed, I was more than happy to take a look at Endgame Gear's wireless entity, the OP1we. With Endgame Gear already recognised as a great gaming peripheral manufacturer, I was yet to actually have experience with them...until now. Lighter Than Air Before I started to massively hone in on gaming hardware, I really was not that bothered by the quality of a mouse. I still have fond memories of wrecking the office staff over the LAN at lunch breaks on Call of Duty United Offensive. My trusty cheap wired Dell mouse never let me down. Now, more than ever I see how much of a difference style, finish and weight can make. How gamers have evolved! Design Similar to most of the Endgame Gear mice, the OP1we comes in either white o...

be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX Review

Back at the start of 2022, I reviewed the be quiet! Dark Rock TF 2 CPU Cooler, review link here! Comprising of 2 amazingly stealthy 135mm Silent Wings, this beast of a heatsink lowered my CPU temps amazingly. My only issue was the size of the unit, as it made releasing the GPU tricky due to it covering the release lever. While I'm not the sort of person who changes their GPU that often, I was keen to see how a liquid-cooled system would be in comparison. From fitment and aesthetics to performance. When be quiet! kindly sent me their Pure Loop 2 FX All-in-One to have a play with, I was like a child at Christmas! Liquid Cooling Baby! Would the Pure Loop 2 FX cool my CPU down further and allow me to reclaim some of the space from the motherboard? Read on! Design be quiet!'s Pure...

ZOTAC RTX 4080 Amp Extreme AIRO Review

Are you looking for that epic upgrade to your PC? Well, ZOTAC has you covered, with the recently released ZOTAC RTX 4080 Amp Extreme AIRO. Yes, I know that it's a long name, but with the long name, comes a long list of great features. Ice Cold Performance Having been a ZOTAC GPU owner before, I thought it prudent to take hold of this review sample. I jammed it into my case, and set aside some time to see how this performed. Design Whenever I look at a ZOTAC GPU I'm always impressed with how sleek they are. The ZOTAC RTX 4080 Amp Extreme AIRO is no different. With its triple fan layout, the card looks ready to dissipate heat as quickly as possible. The card itself is a chunky boy, with it needing 3.5 empty slots on your motherboard. Meaning it won't fit into everyone's case. Add ...

Verbatim PMT-17 Portable Monitor Review

I've always wondered about portable monitors and how they would actually work in the real world. With my work having me travel all over the country, often staying in hotel rooms with locked TVs, the appeal was intriguing. Queue the Verbatim PMT-17. More Than Meets The Eye When we were contacted and asked if we wanted to give the Verbatim PMT-17 Portable Monitor a test, I raised my hand. So sit back and relax as I try and portray how amazing an experience this was for me. Design In a very unassuming box, with just the image of the contents and a few details about the monitor. The Verbatim PMT-17 sits a bit like a spider, waiting for you to get too close before sinking its teeth into you. Okay, maybe not like a spider, but as soon as I opened the box I was drawn in by the large 17.3 inch...

Iiyama G-Master GB3467WQSU Review

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been getting to grips with the G-master GB3467WQSU from iiyama. As with Pauls previous iiyama monitor review, offering up a lightning-fast, 165Hz VA panel. Does this Red Eagle Soar or is it merely left wanting? Bringing curves to the masses What's In The Box? When you unpack the G-master GB3467WQSU you get a few bits and pieces. Including both HDMI and Display Port cables, a USB A to USB B cable, and the power supply. There should be a way for you to connect this monitor to your computer. Unless you have a VGA or DVI port then you will probably be searching Amazon for an adapter. All the cables supplied are long enough that you shouldn't be worrying about the distance from tower to monitor. Whilst the monitor I am reviewing here is the 34" 1440p v...

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 AMP AIRO Review

Today we'll be looking at the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 AMP AIRO. Much like with the previous 4070 Ti review here, my system contains a Ryzen 5 5600, which will bottleneck the ZOTAC RTX 4070. As a result for some of the benchmarks, you may see diminishing returns or even lower frames at lower resolutions. So again, I will be seeing how the Graphics Card fares as a mid-range GPU. Overview of The RTX 4070 The ZOTAC RTX 4070 can be purchased at around the £650 mark, at the time of writing. That is about bang in the middle for a 4070. So while it's still considerably more than XX70 Graphics Cards of the past, it isn't the most expensive for the current gen. Especially considering this is ZOTAC's top-end 4070, offering their highest factory clock boost. Visually, it looks identi...
