Pokemon Sword and Shield Release Today

To all Pokemon fans out there, we are pleased to announce that Pokemon Sword and Shield is now available to buy. Both titles are on the shelves as of today (15th November 2019). In both titles, you have the choice to start out with the same three Pokemon, Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble. The Differences As with most Pokemon games, there are multiple versions available on release. As per other releases, one of the main differences is that each title contains exclusive Pokemon. The idea behind this is that you trade with friends and family who have the title you did not purchase. There are quite a few differences, so you may want to check which Pokemon are exclusive to which version so you make the right purchase. Not only are there different Pokemon to collect but you will also have ...

Re-Mothered: Tormented Fathers Review – Lord, It’s a Re-mother for Ya

In the hilariously titled Re-Mothered: Tormented Fathers you take on the role of nosy parker and part-time Jodie Foster look-a-like Rosemary Reed. Rosemary takes it upon herself to investigate the disappearance of a young girl via a bit of breaking and entering at the spooky and kooky Felton mansion. Little does she know the aforementioned mansion holds a fair few unpleasant secrets, including, but not limited to, a naked, sickle-wielding old man and a nightmare-fuelling red-garbed nun. Re-Mothered: Tormented Fathers was developed by Stormind Games and was published by Darril Arts. It has appeared on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One and released on Switch on August 30th 2019 for £26.99. Gameplay Re-mothered: Tormented Fathers plays a little like a combination of the first Resident Evil...

Nanotale: Typing Chronicles Preview – Casting The Spell

Introduction Early access title Nanotale: Typing Chronicles developed by Fishing Cactus and published by Fishing Cactus, Plug In Digital and 2P Games.  Currently available on steam, Nanotale is the new adventure from the Typing Chronicles franchise and spiritual successor to Epistory. In a nutshell, it’s a dungeon crawl style RPG game that you can play purely with the keyboard.  Replace frantically clicking your mouse button with desperately trying to accurately and quickly type words from fox, to flammable to cynicism.  Think Mavis Beacon teaches typing, whilst casting spells to ward off hoards of enemies, it’s frustratingly fun! Nanotale: Typing Chronicles is an Early Access title, so expect the usual teething issues and bugs.  However, the developers are constantly releasing fixe...

The Walking Zombie 2 Review – Post-Apocalypse Polygon Fun…Kind Of

The Walking Zombie 2 turns zombie survival exploits into modern polygon-based storytelling in a shooter game that’s enriched with RPG aspects throughout. Developed and published by Czech Republic-based Alda Games, Walking Zombie 2 positions itself as a solid PC follow up to it’s Android predecessor The Walking Zombie: Dead City. In The Walking Zombie 2, you have the power to save the world...plus the power to be a bit of dick whilst doing so, if you want to. The choices are yours. Gameplay The Walking Zombie 2 is a single-player first-person survival shooter where, unsurprisingly, your main enemies are the world’s hordes of undead zombies. There’s plenty of satisfying combat action interspersed with a range of somewhat less satisfying cutscenes and dialogue encounters with other NPCs. Yo...

Headspun Review – Putting Together The Pieces

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to help piece someone's memory back together whilst enjoying mini-games and tasks? Then read on. But first, let us get inside the head of Jamin the Director and Developer at Superstring Ltd who developed Headspun. Let's talk about Superstring, can you tell us how it came about? In my day job, I work as Global Brand Manager at Square Enix, but I’ve always had all these design ideas and creative energies I need to release somewhere outside of work. I’ve tinkered with various game projects over the years, but Headspun was the first game I could envisage a commercial release for, and so – in late 2017 - I spun up Superstring to be the vehicle to carry it.   What are your aspirations for Superstring? My whole thing with Superstring ...
