Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles PC Review

Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a 3D puzzle platformer developed by Luminawesome Games Ltd and published by Wired Productions. With a price tag of £15.99 Lumote is available via Steam for Windows or Stadia. Unlike most games, Lumote offers a free playable demo... So if you're on the fence, why not give it a try first? Lumote is the most beautifully addictive puzzle game I have ever played. Period. We all remember the first time we picked up a game and fell in love with it, you play 'one quick level' and before you know it it's been 6 hours, the kids have gone to bed and you're in the doghouse... again. Lumote has taken me back on that journey, from the second I picked it up I found myself saying "just one more stage.. just one more". Without a doubt this is the most beautiful, addic...

FixFox PC Review

FixFox is a top-down Adventure game that plunges you into a unique science fiction world. You play from the perspective of a humanoid engineer with a less than lucrative reputation in his field. If you are into space exploration, technology, and loveable characters, then Joystick Ventures has the perfect game for you to play. Available on Windows and Mac operating systems on Steam. One Moment I Was Fixing A Fridge, Then Restoring A Planet's Communications System The Next. As someone who loves Science Fiction, FixFox gave me the same feeling I get from the show Red Dwarf. The comedic value of the A.I. and the light-hearted story made the game a pleasure to play. Usually, a hero comes equipped with laser blasters, a decked-out spaceship, and a state-of-the-art spacesuit. However, my toolki...

VELONE Review

VELONE is a creative automation game in which you assemble and program mechanisms to solve logic puzzles, from publisher Daedalic Entertainment. Both relaxing and highly replayable, you save the planet VELONE by creating automated constructs that move and assemble according to your master plan. Logic And Puzzles Might Get You Through This I'm a fan of puzzle games. They can be great fun and a good way to unwind. There's something deeply satisfying about solving them. I'm that guy that plays Tomb Raider and just wants to raid tombs for the puzzles, not go to war with Trinity. So a game that's all about logic and puzzles where you learn more about the planet Velone as you progress? Sure, sounds like it could be fun. Gameplay The game is listed as being *inspired* by Opus Magnum. So let's...

Chicken Police – Paint It Red Review

Developed by The Wild Gentlemen, Massive Miniteam, and published by HandyGames. It was released on the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 5th November 2020. Chicken Police - Paint It Red is a buddy cop noir adventure with a great blend of humour, a gripping story, and some great artwork. What can go wrong with a game where you play as a detective who is a chicken? Well, let's find out in this Chicken Police - Paint It Red Review. Chicken Police - Paint It Red - Finger Licking Good Straight away when I saw the title. Chicken Police, I just knew I had to play it. I didn't care what kind of game it was. But the fact that it was a detective game just his the right spot for me. A video game where you play a chicken who's a detective just puts a smile on your face straight awa...

Flat Kingdom: Paper’s Cut Edition Switch Review

It's time for another inclusion into the 2D side-scrolling genre, where a young hero chooses to save the world from an evil monster bent on world domination. This is our review for Flat Kingdom: Paper's Cut Edition. Flat Kingdom: Paper's Cut Edition is a 2D action puzzle game developed by Flat Panda Games and released by Games Starter. It was released on April 7th, 2016 on PC, Switch, and PS4. Flat Kingdom - Paper Mario's fantasy obsessed brother Seeing that the title, you would assume that it makes this seem like a brand new version of a previous game, but it is not. I'm not sure why they chose that but it's an odd feature to add. Anyway, I'm not the best at puzzle games but I do love me some side scrollers and fantasy games so I'm interested to see what this has. Let's hope it's goo...

It has a release for the Xbox One, Series X/S, Playstation 4/5 on the 15 of April 2022. It was originally released on the PC way back in 2016. Can we keep our sanity in check in this Sally Face review? Sally Face - Don't Believe Everything You See Indie video games have been around since the early days of gaming. Every year the hits just keep on getting bigger but it's the forgotten indie games that go over people's heads. Games that have been out for years have recently grabbed the attention they so rightly deserve. Does Sally Face fit into that category? Well, let's find out, shall we? Aztech Forgotten Gods Review

Aztech Forgotten Gods is a new action-adventure game developed and published by indie studio Lienzo (Mulaka, Hunter's Legacy) available on March 10th. The game is set in an alternate reality in which the American continents did not face conquering nations and civilizations such as the Aztecs were able to flourish and develop into a modern technical society. You wield the power of the Forgotten Gods and become a hero as you turn their power against them. Witness Aztec Influence for a Modern Era in Aztech Forgotten Gods I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I first took a look at the info available for Aztech Forgotten Gods. Once I got to playing it, it took a while for it to really sink in too. Only once I'd got further into the game though it finally did click and I began enjoying it m...

KeyWe Review

KeyWe is a co-op puzzler developed by Stonewheat & Sons and published by Sold-Out Software, it sees you take on the role of a couple of Kiwis working in a post-office. Sounds intriguing right?! We set 2 of the S's (Stu and Si) off to check out the wacky world of Kiwi postage. Going Postal! We love a good co-op game here at TC, so couldn't wait to get stuck into KeyWe. Kiwis, Ostriches, a random Octopus this truly is going to be a crazy game!  You can check out our previous review of one of our favourite co-op games ever right here! Uncharted: Legacy of Theives – The Lost Legacy Review

Having played the original release of The Lost Legacy (read our review here) when it launched back in August 2017, I was excited when the Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection was announced. I loved the switch to a new, yet familiar lead character. To steal a quote from protagonist Chloe Frazer  - "when people have low expectations, it's much easier to take them by surprise".  A truer word couldn't be said about this cinematic story-driven action-adventure, as it did take me by surprise and stands as one of my favourite games in the Uncharted series to date. Recharted - The Lost Legacy Developed by PlayStation first-party studio Naughty Dog, this remaster collects PS4 titles A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy in one package and brings them natively to the PS5. There's a welcome upgr...
