During a fireside chat at the WASD event in London Ali-A has announced, in partnership with YouTube, the launch of a new global talent show, to find the next star gaming creator along with a grand prize of $100,000! The uTure show kicks off today at 6pm (9 April 2022) with the entry process being opened up for submissions from until the 8 May 2022. The submissions must be in English and submitted as a YouTube Short, the video platforms new TikTok-style video format, of up to 60 seconds. No Awards For LaLa Land Uswitch compiled the research and analysed the total number of times each game has been named 'Game of the Year' between 2003 and 2021. It took the number of awards won divided by the number nominated for to come up with an Annual Percentage score.
