Debug Announces 2024 Indie Game Awards Show Nominees

The Debug Indie Game Awards, sponsored by Press Engine, is a brand new award show starting in 2024. It is taking place in Nottingham, UK on February 2nd and features an exhibit floor, developer talks and the awards themselves. Debug are a group dedicated to shining a light on indie games and the people that make them. As well as sponsored shows, such and the awards, another way they do that is by releasing a quarterly magazine. It is absolutely packed with previews, reviews, interviews, and nods to loads of games. Ghosts of New Eden Banished Into 2024

With so many games vying for attention in the latter stages of 2023, Don't Nod and Focus Entertainment have opted to push the release of their new game, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, out of its November 7th slot. To avoid launching in a busy gaming period in Q4 2023, the developer and publisher duo have shifted the release date of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden to February 13 2024. In their announcement JPEG on Twitter they say that although the game is finished and ready to release they want the game to get the spotlight it deserves. Microsoft have been doing an incredible job recently, bringing Japanese games to Xbox players around the world. Adding both the Persona and Yakuza/Like a Dragon series to their Game Pass offerings, the attention now turns to the latest title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, the developers of the series formerly known as Yakuza, Like a Dragon Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name.
