Developed to take advantage of powerful video-game hardware, the next generation edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 will feature a range of visual and technical improvements — including ray tracing and faster loading times — across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content. We're now pretty deep into 2020 and with that we've had some news on the next generation of console gaming, however we still don't actually know much about the launches themselves. What we do know however is that both Microsoft and Sony are adopting very different approaches to the next generation and as a multi-platform owner I find that exciting. Often during these times it's interesting following the hype and the build up of the new machines and that's something I personally follow quite closely. Animal Crossing New Horizons Summer Update

If you've been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons you've probably noticed a lot of additional content since the much-anticipated release in March this year. The summer update does not disappoint! Swimming The swimming feature has been added in this latest update. A much-loved feature from New Leaf and welcome addition to New Horizons by Animal Crossing fans. The only item you need to swim is the wetsuit, however, there are a few other related clothing items you might be interested in. Check your mailbox upon starting your game as you will find a swimming-related present from Nintendo waiting for you. The Nook's Cranny cabinet will stock a wetsuit for you to buy. These items change colour daily, much like the wrapping paper and other items, so you may wish to visit again tomorrow....

Sega Celebrates Big, But Keeps It Small With The Astro City Mini

It looks like Sega are continuing their 60th anniversary celebrations, but sticking with the micro theme. You may remember earlier in the year, Sega announced the Game Gear Micro which is being released on October 6th this year, exactly 30 years to the day after the release of the original Game Gear, Sega's 8-bit handheld system. So far the system is only available in Japan, and like so, the Astro City Mini is said to be no different with no confirmation of a western release. What do we know so far? The Astro City Mini is set to release at the end of the year in Japan costing ¥12,800 (around $120 or £94) and will feature 36 arcade games. Coatsink and Bit Loom Studios have announced that the release of PHOGS! has now been delayed. Due for release in June they have now advised it will be later on this year. They have advised like many other studios around the world, the global pandemic has created a large number of unforeseen challenges.
