Game Pass Games – February 2025

While only a few additions have been confirmed for February on Game Pass, there are still some things to love. Not only does a popular pixel art strategy game make a comeback, but a long-awaited Obsidian RPG finally gets its release. Check out February’s first wave below:

Far Cry New Dawn

Genre: First-Person Shooter

Released: 14th February 2019

Step into the standalone sequel to Far Cry 5 and return to the fictional post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana.  Now populated with colourful flora and mutated animals, it’s a volatile new world. As the unnamed “Security Captain”, protect survivors of The Collapse from the brutal Highwaymen and their twin leaders. Travel across the landscape, either on foot or by vehicle, liberating enemy outposts before raiding or re-purposing them. Recruit human and animal survivors as allies and equip new weapons and attachments to turn the tables on the Highwaymen. As you upgrade Prosperity as your home base, see how the survivors rebuild in the wake of nuclear devastation. But the shadow of Joseph Seed’s paramilitary cult still lingers.

EA Sports Madden NFL 25

Kingdom: Two Crowns

A returning title to Game Pass, Kingdom: Two Crowns brings players back into the side-scrolling pixel art world of the Monarch. Atop your loyal steed, discover new lands and lay the foundations for a kingdom that will last for centuries. Recruit allies and build key structures like towers and farms to expand your lands, unlocking new technologies and units. Rule alone or team up with a fellow monarch in co-op to forge a combined dynasty to be reckoned with. But be sure to bolster your armies with archers, knights and siege weapons: when night falls, the monstrous Greed will descend upon you. So adjust your crown and mount your horse – destiny awaits!

Avowed

At long last, experience an epic fantasy open world in the universe first introduced in Pillars of Eternity. As an envoy of Aedyr, you must investigate the plague that is ravaging the Living Lands. Explore a plethora of different landscapes with unique ecosystems and inhabitants. Mix and match swords and shields, gunplay, and powerful magic to find your ideal play style and unleash destruction on your enemies. Recruit companions from a variety of species on your adventure to aid you in combat, each with different abilities and perks to give you a boost. But every choice you make will carry weight and repercussions, shaping your own and the Living Lands’ fate.

Standard Tier also feels the love this month with some heavy hitters coming in this wave. Another Crab’s Treasure and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes are available now on all consoles, and Bethesda’s mammoth space RPG Starfield available on Xbox Series X/S.
