1,827 Days Gone..... 5 years have passed us by and here we sit on the Days Gone 5th Anniversary. April 26th 2019, the Friday that Bend Studio finally released its newest game into the wild. The game its team had poured so much effort, heart and soul into over so many years during its long development. 5 Years on the Broken Road It has been so heart warming to see all the love from the community of players for this amazing title since its launch. A title that is so underrated, under-appreciated and in many ways under valued. Following Pride Month 2023, Tyler and I felt inspired to write a TC feature about some great LGBTQIA+ representation in video games. We put our heads together and came up with the following games and characters. The list is done in no particular order so please don't be offended. We did focus on characters written as queer rather than chosen in character creation or player choices. Narrowing down the many games with LGBTQIA+ romantic options wasn't easy. Especially with game series from The Sims to Saints Row, RPGs like Fallout and Mass Effect and more. Being given the choice during gameplay has come leaps and bounds in video game history. Strategic Moves – Summer Game Fest 2023

What was traditionally known as "E3 Season" is upon us. Summer Game Fest Opening Night beams to our screens on Thursday June 8th and gamers around the world are excited to see what juicy announcements are shown during the showcase. Having been quiet for 2 years, PlayStation precluded this event with their own showcase at the end of May. While I personally thought it was a fairly strong showing, many online bemoaned its lack of big reveals as the show failed to live up to the over-hyped expectations being bandied around the internet.
