The LEGO Group has recently launched a new app: LEGO Play. This new creative app replaces the previous LEGO Life app which was launched in 2017. With a target audience of 6-14 this app is centred around embracing and encouraging creativity. Building Board Games Together: The LEGO Group and Asmodee Partnership. That's the strapline from the official press release. It summarises everything rather nicely and yet not quite enough. Earlier this year the LEGO Group announced a partnership with Asmodee to create a board game called Monkey Palace. Yes, yes: More LEGO Animal Crossing sets

Earlier this year LEGO released five Animal Crossing themed sets. I was severely underwhelmed when these were first revealed in a Press Release in October 2023. They didn't capture everything I loved about Animal Crossing and LEGO. Or so I thought. Then these sets hit the shelves. I saw pictures from friends. I watched TikToks showing off people's builds. It's a great time to be a gamer and LEGO fan.
