Shaken, Not Stirred
As the city of Bukovie lies in strife, with labour strikes, rationing, unrest and a looming war over the peoples’ heads, citizens choose not to cower in fear. Instead, they flock to the dance halls and speakeasies – this is where you come into play. Crumbling grandeur might inspire melancholy, but that’s nothing a stiff drink won’t cure. There is a way to get them all to talk.
Step into the shoes of the owner of The Nightcap, the last speakeasy in town. A bonfire in the night as the light dwindles in the world. As you are pouring out drinks, your customers will pour their hearts out to you – and their secrets with it. Become a detective, listen to your clients’ stories, learn about their lives and unravel a mystery that touches every layer of society. Be it drunken dandies splashing cash on cocktails, to the crooked cops and seedy lowlifes who try to rope you into their shady schemes.
Over the course of five cases and with a cast of 20 unique and engaging characters, you will have to explore every clue, question every suspect and choose who you can trust, who will have your back, and who will stab you in it.
