Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate PC Review

Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate is an action-adventure FPS from the long-standing company, Bungie. The Edge of Fate is the ninth expansion, which has you literally dealing with the Nine. For those who don't know the lore of Destiny 2, or hasn't been playing Destiny since 2014 I'll explain. The Nine is a group consisting of cosmic beings that have an unimaginable amount of power that makes armies look like ants. I would recommend listening to the lore videos on mynameisbyf's YouTube channel. While investigating the EDZ, Ikora comes across this weird signal that she checks out with her Hidden beside her. Moments from getting the transmission, a train appears out of nowhere and clearly leaves behind what seems an invitation. This leads her to the actual edge of the universe to land on Kepler, ...

No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES – PC Review

No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES is an Adventure game, made by the wild minds from Spike Chunsoft. They're behind not only this series, but many others like Danganronpa and Stein's Gate. Basically, most of my favourite story telling adventure games came from this company. No Sleep for Kaname Date is the third instalment of the AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES series and launches today (25th July) on Steam. As someone who's invested over a combined 80 hours from the first two alone, this was actually an amazing addition. Remember, when you're feeling sad or lost, just pick up a Porn-o mag to wash away the pain. When it comes to the timeline of the game, this one take place between both the first game and nirvanA Initiative. Getting to do the puzzles so blind that I had no guides...

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army – PC Review

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is an action, RPG branching from the Shin Megami Tensei series. With the publishing power of ATLUS and the funding from SEGA, we finally get this game. This is a remaster of Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army. Originally released on the PlayStation 2 on October 10th, 2006, it was just one of several subseries under the SMT umbrella. I'm thrilled to get to play this game again after over a decade since my last playthrough, this time on PC! It's honestly going to be a bit difficult to remember everything from that version over the remaster. But, I'm going to give it a shot! Be it demon, human, or something in-between. As long as I got Gouto, my sword and my gun, nothing will stand in my way! It's the year Taisho 20 in T...

Ruffy and the Riverside – PC Review

Ruffy and the Riverside is an action, adventure game from Zockrates Laboratories UG with the publishing assistance from Phiphen Games. This game is a beautiful return to the classic collectathon genre. Games like Banjo-Kazooie and Paper Mario are huge inspirations to the game. I honestly wanted to add 'puzzle' to the list of genres for this game due to the crazy amount of puzzles in it. I didn't but, it's the puzzles definitely form a good part of its personality. You'll need a really good wheel of hay to travel these woods. Without it, it'll be one bale of a time. Th game may not be out until 26th June, but you can still Wishlist it on Steam today! Or if you want to give it a try before you buy, I recommend the demo, it's really fun! Gameplay Ruffy and the Riverside starts you out...

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN PC Review

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is an Action, RPG, and Roguelite game made by FromSoftware. It takes place in the ELDEN RING universe, but it exists on its own two legs. I have been noticing that lately, we've had a few roguelikes that choose to have a three-person team, like Windblown, which is my strongest memory of this example. With it being a game from FromSoftware, the difficulty of the game is only in one mode. Which, for some new people coming into the game, would think it's a very difficult game. However, for people who understand FromSoftware's history and roguelites, this is what makes it fun. "How hard?" You may be asking. Oh ho ho ho. Just keep reading to see if I can let you understand what to expect. Yes! Old enemies to face and *someone whispering in my ear* WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE ...

The Siege and the Sandfox – PC Review

The Siege and the Sandfox is an Action, Adventure, Metroidvania coming from Cardboard Sword. With the help of PLAION from the publishing side. This game being Cardboard Sword's first entry into the gaming industry and is out now on Steam.  Sneak in the shadow, strike like a club, but remember to be the Sandfox This game does look gorgeous with it's 2-d pixel art style. Yet, within my complete playthrough, I felt as if something was either wrong or missing. I did come across some bugs that did break my immersion during my session. Basically, the entire adventure felt well executed, but like every gem, not every gem can be flawless. Let's get into the full review. Gameplay The Siege and the Sandfox has you playing Kasha'i or better yet known as the Sandfox. An agent of the people, wh...

DOOM: The Dark Ages – PC Review

DOOM: The Dark Ages is an Action, First Person Shooter from the same brains behind the rest of the DOOM series, id Software. Thankfully the funds from Bethesda Studios have the cup run over for how great this game turned out. DOOM: The Dark Ages is a prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal. If you're wondering if you can play this DOOM before the others, yes however I would always start with the older games first. All you lost lambs that are entering the DOOM series with DOOM: The Dark Ages, I have one thing to say... Rip and tear...Rip and Tear...RIP and Tear...RIP AND Tear...RIP AND TEAR...RIP AND TEAR!!!!!!!! For everyone out of the loop or they're reading this review to see if DOOM is right for them, sit down, because I got a tale to rip and tear right into you. Gameplay The...

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping – PC Review

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is an Adventure game made by Happy Broccoli Games. This game is a sequel to Duck Detective: The Secret Salami which you can read our review of here. I honestly didn't expect to get so absorbed and invested into a game that looks simplistic, yet fun. Heck, having the option to just quack whenever I want honestly gave this game a wing up. By my DeDucktion, you will all be getting this game Releasing tomorrow (23rd May) on Steam, let's see if this game is all it's quacked up to be. Spoilers, it is. Gameplay The game starts you as Duck Detective. In the middle of a depressive spiral, we learn how to play the game. Collecting words from things around the room to better solve deducktions. Once you solve your first one, you'll start to understand the ...

Grandma, No! – PC Review

Grandma, No! is an adventure RPG made by Wallride with the assistance of Super Rare Originals. This heavily physics-driven game contains the most chaotic fun I've had in a long time. This is largely due to the throwing of objects by either me or my Grandson. Even just doing normal chores would still guarantee chaos in the end. Grandma… Why is your award-winning pie in the freezer, in a box labelled 'Costco'? My time with Grandma was shorter than I would have liked, but that won't stop me from writing an honest review. I'm just not letting her anywhere near my keyboard or PC! Gameplay The mechanics in Grandma, No! aren't unique, but the gameplay and story are. Grandma's son calls us to tell us that he and his wife are going to need a babysitter because they are heading to a nude bea...

Rusty Rabbit – PC Review

Rusty Rabbit is an action-adventure RPG from developers NITRO PLUS with publishing assistance from SoFun. I originally saw a glimpse of this game during Steam NextFest in Spring of last year. While the game's premise and mechanics had me slightly excited, it was the fact that Kazuma Kiryu's Japanese voice actor was voicing the main protagonist, Stamp, that cemented my need to play it. I entered fanboy mode hard over that fact alone. It's been a long while since I got to enjoy collecting Junk again. Let's cut the chatter and figure out if this game is great or a McGregor. Gameplay You start out as the rabbit known as Stamp. A junk/mech fanatic rabbit existing in a world that seems like our Earth, but going through a second Ice Age. With a world consisting of just rabbits and 'rust b...
