Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection (MHS3) is an Adventure RPG from the company making bangers for 2026, Capcom. As the number shows, this is the third installment to the Monster Hunter Stories. The story of the game takes place 200 years after the events in MHS2. Now, since I got to play the second entry, I can tell the major improvements to this current game. So, without further ado, let's start the review and get some Monsties. Homura Hime is an action game from developers Crimson Dusk and publishing company PLAYISM. As this is their first game, Crimson Dusk jump into the gaming scene with quite an impressive offering. From the combat and parrying mechanics, to the beautiful and amazing character designs, this game checks every box on my list. But, with every good thing there are slight flaws. Solateria is an Action, Adventure Metroidvania from the creative minds at Studio Doodal. With publishing assistance from Shinsegae Information. Solateria has the look and feel of Hollow Knight, but with a heavy lean into parrying. Yes, I know what you're thinking. This is the second game in a row that has the Protag being fire based. With leaning hard on parrying being the main mechanic. The game is actually a blazing time that would have you learn your enemy's pattern and timing. Almost like a Souls like game since executing a perfect parry brings in more damage. Vivid World is an Action, Adventure, Strategy game from Asobism. The successor to another game from Asobism called Vivid Knight released back on May 26, 2021. Available on Steam, this is an adorable dark pastel game that gives me notes of games like Labrinth of Refrain and Etrian Odyssey for their party build mechanics. Dispatch is an Action, Adventure Indie game produced and developed by AdHoc Studio. After reading Paul's preview article of the game, I was first drawn to Dispatch because of the art style and dialog. It gave me that old school nostalgia I feel for TellTale Games, especially when it game to the game's humour and dialog choices. Frosthaven – PC Preview

Frosthaven is a RPG, Strategy game from Sanpshot Games. Fun fact, some of these developers actually worked on the X-COM games before forming Snapshot Games. Which greatly explains the RTS in a bird's eye view whole aesthetics. I have hundreds of hours under the X-COM flag. Besides at the very least a point-blank shot doesn't have a chance to completely miss. You must choose who to fight as from a list of six characters, but why did you choose the same character FOUR TIMES!!!!! The game is out now in Early Access on Steam. Which means this will be a nice little preview, rather then a full review.
