0 With the recent updates to Astro’s Playroom you can take on new challenges to unlock new characters for the new Astro Bot game. These bots are in the form of iconic characters from PlayStation games.
These Are The Bots You’re Looking For!
Load up the excellent Astro’s Playroom on your PS5 and you will be greeted with a message about a special bot appearing in a particular level. Solve the riddle and rescue the bots and they will be available for you as part of your starting crew in the new Astro Bot game that is due to launch on September 6th.
The first update arrived on June 7th, while the most recent update was on July 8th. In total there will be 4 bots to find with a 3rd one in August and the final one in September.
June Bot: GPU Jungle – Render Forest
To get the first bot you will have to head to Render Forest level in the GPU Jungle area of the game. Then you can follow along with our video below to see how to find and rescue the secret bot:
July Bot: SSD Speedway – Deep Dataspace
To get the second bot you will have to head to Deep Dataspace level in the SSD Speedway area of the game. Then you can follow along with our video below to see how to find and rescue the secret bot:
PlayStation Labo
Once rescued head on over to the Labo area in the game. There you will find a new blue portal in the middle of the room. This portal will take you to a new area below the Labo room. Walk directly ahead into the teleporter and it will take you to the mission room where you will find the unlocked characters for the new Astro Bot game.
