0 Upcoming tavern simulator game Ale & Tale Tavern has accomplished no easy feat for an indie game. They recently reached 250,000 Wishlists on Steam.
To celebrate this huge milestone developer’s Scienart Games along with the publishers by GrabTheGames and UpgradePoint, have released a brand new trailer announcing the game’s release date: 5th September!
A world exists outside of the Tavern
Unlike many other simulation games, a world exists beyond the walls of the establishment that you are are solely in charge of. In fact Ale & Tale Tavern has a whole open world beyond the tavern doors. The game takes place in a cozy and beautiful fantasy world. As you would expect you are step into the role of the owner of an abandoned tavern. Your ultimate mission? Restore the former glory and popularity of the Ale & Tale tavern.
To call it a simulation game feels a disservice with just how much this game packs into itself. You are in for a stunning mix of genres in Ale & Tale Tavern. At it’s core, it is a fantasy tavern simulator in an open world. Where you’ll need to hunt, fish, explore, take on quests and of course serve your tavern patrons. Keep them happy and they will repay you with beautiful coins. More coins means more upgrades. The nicer your establishment is and the better the food/drinks you serve, the more coins you can rake in.
Heavy is the head that pours the Ale
Now what’s more fun than holding the fate of a once well loved tavern in your hands? Sharing that responsibility with friends of course! Ale & Tale Tavern can be played solo or in coop mode for up to four people. Even better is this is an online coop mode so no one has to bicker who gets the good controller.
