Early last week Capcom announced a new update for Resident Evil Resistance. For those who haven’t had sight of this yet, It is an asymmetrical survivor horror experience. Resident Evil Resistance will come as a part of a bundle with the soon to be released Resident Evil 3 (April 2020) New Masterminds First Up, we have Alex Wesker, fans will recognise her from Resident Evil Revelations 2. Alex makes a perfect mastermind as she enjoys putting her subjects through psychological horrors and crazy experiments. In Clumsy Rush, which was developed by NerfGame and published by RedDeerGames, you play as a feckless hippo whose goal is to reach the end of an obstacle course whilst wearing a crown over a series of 47 levels. Clumsy Rush released on Nintendo Switch at £4.99 on December 23rd 2019. Gameplay As the title suggests, controlling your hippo is intentionally challenging. You control your movement by using the L2 and R2 buttons to pivot upon your left and right legs respectively. Back in the halcyon days of the early nineties, half of the games that came out on the SNES were prefixed with the word 'Super'. Super Star Wars, Super Bomberman, Super Soaker, Super Souper (a fascinating game regarding the Irish Famine, look it up). The list was endless. Towards the end of 2019, Netflix released the lovingly crafted prequel to the classic fantasy adventure film The Dark Crystal. Following the critical and fan admiration to the series, BonusXP announced The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, a new tactical game based on the Netflix prequel. Instantly this grabbed my attention. I love Jim Henson’s work and had recently finished the fantastic Fire Emblem: Three Houses. To me, this sounded like the perfect game. The time came.
