0 The classic 1980s platformer is getting a remix. Wonder Boy Returns gets a Switch physical release via Strictly Limited Games.

Strictly Limited Games have announced the pre-order start of the Limited and Collectors Edition of the well-loved game for March 20th on Nintendo Switch. The game and also some physical collectables are available via the Strictly Limited Store.
Since 1986 players have accompanied this young hero on his side-scrolling adventure to save his girlfriend and now creator Ryuichi Nishizawa has given Boy/Tom Tom the HD remake the iconic adventurer deserves. Wonder Boy Returns Remix features beautiful anime-style graphics, an awesome soundtrack, and new special features to keep fans delighted. Now, Wonder Boy Returns Remix gets a switch physical release. Strictly Limited Games is also making a boxed Nintendo Switch version available for the very first time. The new version of the game now includes:
- Modern HD, anime-inspired graphic style
- Bright visual effects and smooth animations
- Superior soundtrack compositions and sound effects
- 2 playable characters: Boy/Tom-Tom & Tina/Tanya
- Improved gameplay and interface compared to the original
Early Bird (Erm Boy) Catches The Worm
PS4 players may remember the special editions of Wonder Boy Returns released just a few years ago and now Nintendo Switch players have their chance to own the Limited Editions Too. The Limited Edition (Nintendo Switch) will have only 3,000 copies released worldwide. Also, The Limited Collectors Edition is only releasing 2000 copies including collectables such as:
