We’ve all heard of the name Corsair. Synonymous with a whole bunch of hardware both for PC and Consoles. They reached out to us and asked if we could cover the Clipper Pro Mini 60. Obviously, we said yes! What we got hold of, was a little smaller than we expected, but what it had was an incredible amount of character. Retailing at just under £90, and available in black or white it left us impressed with what it had under the hood. Let’s find out more.

Featuring some great features found on some bigger and pricier keyboards, the Clipper Pro Mini fights in it’s own corner and, pound for pound, will win most battles. Time to take that deep dive into some of the features the keyboard has up its sleeve.
Design Features
So you’ve probably already guessed, this is a keyboard. The Clipper Pro Mini 60 is also small, 60% of a full-size keyboard. So no arrows, no keypad, just the pure keyboard. It fits nicely into any setup. It fits in any desk space and can even be portable. Being waterproof and dust-resistant, you can be assured that if an accident happens, the IP57-rated keyboard will keep up. Even if you submerge it fully.
With a great, crisp typing experience, the Clipper Pro Mini 60 has dual layers of integrated sound dampening to absorb the internal echoes and prevent the little pings of the troublesome space bar. Giving you a premium experience at a budget price. Being a wired keyboard is also allows the keyboard to have an impressive 80,000Hz report rate. Meaning the Clipper registers inputs up to 8 times faster than a standard gaming keyboard. Ensuring perfect responsiveness for competitive play.
Now we all know that a keyboard is only as good as its switches. The Clipper Pro Mini 60 features Corsair’s MGX Hyperdrive Core magnetic hall effect switches. Giving no drift and consistent performance every single time. With an actuation of 0.2- 3.8 mm and 4mm of total travel. These switches are crisp, clean, and so satisfying to type with. With some pretty nifty settings available to you, including rapid trigger. Allowing as little of a 0.1mm uplift to allow you to register another keypress. Or the multi-action, giving one key up to 4 actions. Or even different actions for taps, and long presses. All these settings are configurable in the Corsair Web Hub.
The Clipper Pro Mini 60 is a great keyboard; there are some features here that even the big hitter keyboards don’t have. So what are you waiting for? Head out and pick up your next piece of hardware.
Final Thoughts
Corsair might have reached an incredible feat with this keyboard. Some of the features on the Clipper Pro Mini 60 are usually reserved for the full-size, more expensive cousins. So having this on a £90 keyboard is absolutely insane! If you can do without the extra bits of a full-size keyboard, or even if you need something small for travelling, get this keyboard. You won’t regret it, and with the Hall effect switches you can guarentee that you have a keyboard that’s going to last the duration.
