Developed and published by WayForward. Spidersaurs is a run and gun, shooter, platformer. It was released on Xbox One, Series S/X, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch on the 19th of July 2022. Spidersaurs - As Hard As Dino Doody Originally an Apple Arcade Exclusive from back in 2019. Spidersaurs made their way onto PC and ported to every console. So it had to have been popular right? I mean a game where the enemies are spider/dinosaurs DNA mix mash. This was just too good of an offer to pass up. Throw in some run and gun and some platforming then you got a recipe for hours of fun. If you enjoyed this review then why not check out my previous one here? TombStar PC Review

TombStar blazes a path onto Steam on July 20th. This new top-down, roguelite shooter brings a Space Western theme to PC. It has been in development by Andy Sum and Marcus Grambau, with publishing by No More Robots (Let's Build a Zoo, Yes, Your Grace). Andy Sum is the co-founder of Hipster Whale (Crossy Road). Marcus Grambau is the founder of Valorian Games (Ink or Swim). This appears to be their first collaborative project for a PC game release. Bullet Hell But Make it Western? TombStar The last time I wrote a piece for a bullet-hell, twin stick shooter type of game was for the Early Access Release of Uragun. I really enjoyed my time playing that game and interestingly enough I just learned that Uragun is going to be switching to a roguelite gameplay approach as well. If you recall from ...

Bright Memory: Infinite – PS5 Review

Bright Memory: Infinite is a sci-fi single-player FPS set in 2036 China where you investigate a singularity threatening the world. It was made by indie developer Zeng Xiancheng of FYQD Studio with their first major release and publisher Playism (DEEEER Simulator). Bright Memory was originally released in Steam early access in 2019 as an episodic game. After success on Steam, Xiancheng was inspired to re-release Bright Memory in full rather than in episodes. FYQD Studio has found success, both in Steam early access and being awarded the Unreal Dev Grant from Epic Games. I played the PS5 version of Bright Memory and it is also available now on Windows PC, Switch and Xbox series S&X. We wrote an article on the GameSpot Play For All 2021 gameplay trailer reveal which you read here. ...

The Hand Of Merlin – Xbox One Review

Developed by Room C Games, Croteam and published by Versus Evil. The Hand of Merlin is a turn-based RPG set in Arthurian times. It was released on Xbox One, Series S/X, Playstation 4/5, Nintendo Switch and PC on the 14th of June 2022. The Hand of Merlin - Marvelous Enough To Make A King Proud If there is one genre I love when it comes to gaming, it has to be tactical turn-based RPGs. I could play these kinds of games all day which also makes me very sceptical when a new one is released because it is either very good or very bad. There's no in-between, but having characters from the age of Merlin was too good to pass up. If you enjoyed this review then you can check out my previous one here. Dolmen PS5 Review

Almost a year after Dolmen was announced at a Koch Media preview event, it is finally here. I've been anticipating this since I saw it and now I finally get to play it. My initial impression last year was that looked like a mixture of Dark Souls and Dead Space - Dark Souls in Space! If executing correctly, that sounds like an amazing idea. Dolmen - Less Like Souls, More Soulless Dolmen is the first major game developed by Brazilian studio Massive Work Studio and published under the newly formed Prime Matter. The game was released on May 20th, 2020 on both generations of PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. A dolmen by definition is a single chamber tomb. Will this game live up to its namesake? Will the game be filled with wonder and treasures, or will it be empty and nothing but bare bones? Rea...
