Short Trip, the viral interactive illustration, is coming to Steam this December! The game took creator Alexander Perrin five years to complete, and the browser version has since been played millions of times. The new complete edition of the game includes a new mode as well as some exclusive behind the scenes content.
We’re not kitten around
In case you haven’t heard of this beautiful illustrative experience, Short Trip is an interactive illustration created by Alexander Perrin. The aim of the game is to drive a scenic tram across a tranquil hand-drawn mountainscape, picking up and dropping off cat passengers as you go. Controls are accessible as players only need to use the left and right keys. This is a “slow play” game designed to help players relax and unwind from the bustle of the day.
The complete version of the game coming to Steam will include all the content of the original while adding a new “scheduled” mode that integrates your computer’s clock to create a tram timetable. Reach each station at the correct time to rack up a high score! There will also be a special behind the scenes at the development process from Perrin.
