0 A little later than usual, here’s our summary of the PlayStation Plus Games Catalogue update for April 2025. This month, users are treated to not one, but two Day One releases. As usual, there’s a decent mix of genres to chose from, so have a look at what’s on offer below and check them out with your PS+ Extra or Premium subscriptions.
Blue Prince | PS5
Genre: Puzzle, Roguelike

A game that I am currently losing many hours to, Blue Prince is a magnificent puzzle game that has staggering depth. Each day, you must enter the Mt. Holly estate and decided how to lay out the many rooms available to you, all in an effort to reach the secretive Room 46. Along the way, you’ll uncover additional mysteries and puzzles, even when dozens of runs deep. Make sure you have a notepad handy, you’ll need it.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2 | PS5
Genre: Adventure
Longevity: 15+ Hours | Trophies: 50 (incl Platinum)
Metacritic: 75 | OpenCritic: 77
The second half of DON’T NOD‘s new player-choice-driven adolescent adventure is finally here. Following on from the cliffhanger at the end of Tape 1, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2 explores the more mysterious and supernatural elements of the story. Players can look forward to surprises and twists in the tale, and to the consequences of their choices coming to fruition. I’ve been waiting for the full game to be available before making a start, so hopefully I’ll be experiencing this story for myself soon.

EIC Stuart was impressed with EA Sports PGA Tour on PC, awarding it a Thumb Culture Platinum Award. Now, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can check it out in the game catalogue. Create your own custom golfer and tee-off on 28 real-life courses, and 2 fantasy creations. The Wii PGA game was one of my favourites on that console, so I might just have to try this one. If only I could put Blue Prince down.
