What did you do yesterday? Maybe some work and played some games? Same. Oh and I attended an annoucement event from our friends over at Grindstone! And I come bearing good news. Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, the Nordic-themed roguelite horde survivor, is rolling into a 1.0 release this September on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

More Norse Roguelite Goodness

Grindstone has announced that Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel will be heading to a full 1.0 release very soon! It will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. I previously checked this game out when it hit early access earlier this year. It had already left a great impression on me and it was great to see more content has been added and improvements made with user input since.

In fact they actually just launched a major content patch to PC on the 8th! If you’re looking for more info on the game, check out the details below.

Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel Launches out of Early Access and Expands to Consoles this Fall

Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, developed by Games Farm and ARTillery, will be rolling out their 1.0 release on September 3rd of this year. The full release will expand the game’s availability from PC to include current-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The launch will also add an additional playable class, map, and an Endless Mode to meet your slaying needs.

If you aren’t familiar with Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, it is a rougelite horde survivor game similar to Vampire Survivors or Halls of Torment. You play as a chosen class which determines your base abilities. Further abilities and enhancements originate from different gods of Norse mythos. Between runs, use skill points to advance your base class skills and god-granted powers to increase your overall effectiveness per run.

Regardless if you’re just not into early access or waiting for it to be available on console, be sure to check out Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel when it hits that 1.0 milestone on September 3rd. Those that absolutely cannot wait to get their hands on a console version can visit the booth at Gamescom in August.
