No matter what platforms you played Fortnite on previously, cross play remains available, and your progression and cosmetics carry over to the new platforms. On Xbox Series X|S, if you’ve transferred your Xbox profile from Xbox One, just download the Xbox Series X|S release of the game and get back into the action.

On PlayStation 5, download Fortnite from the PlayStation Store and log in with your Epic account. If you played on PS4 previously but don’t have an Epic account, you can log in with your PlayStation Network account.

Fortnite’s players can look back on the past as Epic are offering a free Throwback Axe Pickaxe. Starting November the 4th, this classic default Pickaxe from Fortnite Chapter 1 will be available through to January the 15th, 2021 for everyone both in-game and through the PlayStation Store.
