0 December on PlayStation rolls into our second week! It is a quiet week, but with a few standout games that remind me of my childhood!! I made my choices, and here they are.
Among Ashes (PS5) – December 9th
It’s the year 2001 and your friend has sent you a link to a game that someone posted online, but as you play you quickly realise that something is terribly wrong. There’s a dark presence in this game, and it wants to get out.
As you fight nightmarish monsters and solve mind-bending puzzles, the lines between the game and the real world will fade away. Will you survive the night?

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered (PS5, PS4) – December 10th
25 years ago, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver introduced the world to the vampire Raziel. In the game’s opening scene, Raziel is betrayed and executed by his master, the vampire emperor Kain. Enduring untold suffering and disfigurement, Raziel rises eons later as the iconic and vengeful blue wraith we all know and love.
In 1999, games were built differently. Deep narratives were uncommon and fully voiced cut-scenes were rare. Soul Reaver had both and quickly became a classic.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Soul Reaver, Aspyr is proud to announce Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind (PS5, PS4) – December 10th
In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, the team faces off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ long-time nemesis. Robo Rita has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally vanquish the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Working together, Robo Rita and Rita Repulsa rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in an attempt to stop the very formation of the Power Rangers, altering the course of history.
